Something a little funny....I was born in 1990. Grew up listening to the radio constantly when my parents had it on. Used to hear the original Steve Winwood version quite a lot. Wasn't until 2021 that I even knew Whitney Houston did a version when I heard this version by chance. It triggered that part of my brain where I knew I'd heard the words and melody before but in a different version and I hadn't heard Winwood's version since I was a kid. Nothing at all against Houston, and it might just be some nostalgia, but I prefer the original song by Steve Winwood.

Legendary Whitney Houston, my Idol & inspiration. But, my Brother's actually "...The Voice..." from The Bible 1 Thessalonians 4 verse 16. "...THE VOICE ...OF THE ARC ANGEL..." And, I'm the "...Arc Angel..." of that same Bible Verse Arc Angel Uriel to be precise, aka The SIREN. I always come before the King of Kings returns. I'm the allegorical Audrey Parker in "Haven..." on Netflix... I will break down the symbolism upon request. Anyway, there are many other books, movies, tv shows, & even cartoons about me and the other 144,000 Bible Chosen Ones of the Bible (they are cleverly disguised allegorical stories). We will both be singing like no other before us. As, our voices precede the Second Coming of Christ based on these Bible Chapters. Confess Jesus as Lord people & be saved The Bible Romans 10 verse 9. The other reason I am here is to remind Humans they are gods. "Ye are gods and children of the Most High God." The Bible Psalm 82 verse 6.

What Kygo did with this song is just so god damn powerful. So nostalgic, so amazing, just a FANTASTIC artist. Nothin but props to this guy. Truly one of the most creative people on the planet.
@TheKZOShow3 жыл бұрын
He did nothing. A remix is, in these days, nothing. The vocals and backing is the same as Whitney's original cover. It's a cash grab playing on peoples memories of Whitney Houston. Kygo gets no money out of this because he did NOTHING.

@@TheKZOShow You have no idea how hard it is to produce a song...if what he does is so easy, tell me how he is one of the most successful artists but never really sings? If it’s just SOOOOO easy...making beats and making songs that catch MILLIONS of ears around the world is an extreme talent. If it were easy, everyone would do it, because it a very rewarding job money wise.

@hannal45963 жыл бұрын
It’s not her song.. she did a cover on Steve Winwoods song “Higher love”. No one in this comment section seems to understand that. Same with “I will always love you”, which was a cover of Dolly Parton’s song. Whitney was an amazing singer but the actual songwriters/original songs should be praised for the song.
