Kyle was not around when Kathy slandered her and her family. Lisa was present. Kathy made it other's business by melting down in front of Lisa because she thought if it's off camera, it would not go farther. The consequences of Kathy's meltdown are not Kyle's fault. Kyle didn't bring Kathy into it. Kathy did that. How is the meltdown between the sisters when Kyle wasn't even present when it happened? Kathy's apologizing because it's the kind of behavior she obviously engages in . . . habitually, and she usually never has witnesses. No one sets up Kathy Hilton. She had time to leave Kyle's house before Lisa came. Kyle is on camera telling Kathy that Lisa was coming over. The woman would - as we saw leave or refuse to film if she didn't want to meet with Lisa.

@@marissar.359 you need to watch her on Paris’ show, a show in which Kathy is an executive producer has some creative control over. Kathy is completely and is not the lighthearted person you see on RHOBH. Also, when all of this was first leaked to the press, she did an interview talking about Paris upcoming wedding at the time, and the interviewer asked her about everything that happened in Aspen. Kathy told the interviewer that she was shocked at the rumors and that she never gets upset or yells; she denied everything which I expected her to do. What was surprising was Paris’ reaction. You could see all over Paris’ face and by the way she was looking at Kathy that she was shocked to hear her say that she never gets upset or yells. There’s something there with Kathy. No one can diagnosis her except for a doctor however, the behavior in Aspen is probably something that she has worked on controlling over the years and now comes out at ti es of high anxiety. When they were in Aspen filming Kathy caused a media storm when she went on social media asking her husband Rick to get her a plane to fly her out of there. That was the genesis of all the rumors. In essence Kathy’s own actions started everything. No one could understand why she would use a public social media post to ask Rick Hilton to get her a plane out of Aspen. Looking back, I bet that all happened the same night as her meltdown.

I've heard some ppl in my life say some very unkind comments about others. But, before I snitch I ask myself, is it worth hurting this other person? What did Rinna stand to gain interfering between two sisters? Why the constant attack against Kathy's person? She had zero interest in hearing Kathy's apology. Rinna's body was tense and closed off. When Kathy mentions she had a rough time in Aspen, instead of asking what was bothering her, Rinna takes a sip of water and flips the narrative as if Kathy was now attacking her. Erica & Lisa plotted against Kyle!! Erica was pissed that Kyle was mad at Dorit for leaving her home for Erica. If you want to complain that Kathy took it too far, that's talking about action. When you start to use the action as an excuse to label somebody has being fundamentally XYZ, that's when you always see fans jump ship. It makes Rinna, Dorit, etc. look like hypocrites because on one hand they want to gloss over Erika getting black out drunk like 3 cast events in a row, but then Kathy has to answer for an one-time outburst? Over a year after this episode aired and I’m still mad. Kathy apologised to Kyle - as she should have. Then she apologised to Lisa - which was nice but doesn’t make sense. Then Lisa rips into Kathy and carries the drama on. All for what? Kathy vented to her and Lisa listened, then weaponised that against Kathy while playing the victim. Then she tortured Kathy all over social media for the months between filming the end of the season and the reunion airing. Yet at no point in any of this did Rinna consider Kyle, the friend she’s supposedly looking out for. Then Kyle didn’t intervene at any point, or take up for Kathy, or even gently ask Rinna to back off. Now she’s upset because her relationship with her sister is strained? FOUL.
