Sonit Gorla true but drums don’t get enough credit, even the keyboardist, as a drummer myself, I can play this song repeatedly and it will literally leave blisters on my hand, I get the guitarists part but they get way too much credit, it’s like this whole song is a guitar solo but it sounds so damn good
@TheSuperkooz5 жыл бұрын
Sonit Gorla spoken by a non-drummer that doesn’t understand the challenge and skill required to play 16th note single-stroke rolls at 190+bpm with your feet. On a drum that’s not all that reactive. While undergoing a full-body cardio workout. (I’d like to see herman li play those blistering solos while running at top speed) Not to say these guitar parts aren’t challenging, they are. But when it comes to the genre of power metal, the drummers are the real heroes. A power metal band without a tight, precise, and fast drummer is a shitty power metal band.

One of the indicators of a natural is the ability to adjust your time slightly to stay with the song. You did this flawlessly at the 4:08 mark for example. You started the sequence off just a bit fast and easily adjusted. Adaptability is just as important as timekeeping in my opinion. It allows you to play better live with other musicians and make the overall pace of the band seem tighter because you can flow with the guitar and vice versa. This was awesome. Love your style of drumming.

Very impressive, I watch a few drum covers, usually when I m learning a new song that uses techniques I'm not used to. This is super cool, but I don't think I will be playing it any time soon 😂

People talk about the sticks and stuff, but I also find it impressive that your shin muscles don’t fall off. Or toe or whatever for the foot pedal! 😱👍🏼

This guy played the whole song on the drums like a god, he had time to fiddle with the drumsticks and even lost one in the middle of the song. Still he did it perfectly and at the end he just shrugs. Stop talking bullshit about Super Saiyan God blue and the Ultra Instinct, this guy has clearly surpassed the designs of all the gods, impressive falls really short to describe this video!

I wonder how on earth you can keep all that in your head. But then I remember there are such things as prodigies, and conclude there's just no explaining and that I should just shup up, listen and enjoy. It is what it is. And you, mate, are an aboslute joy to hear! Cheers from Patagonia!

As a guy who doesn’t play any instruments, never known anyone who played an instrument , and basically doesn’t know anything about anything in this area of expertise, I gotta say man, this is mind blowing! 🤯 Like seriously, c’mon, how do you even learn this? How do you know where to hit, and when? Its not as if there’s only 1 or 2 drums, dudes got like a dozen in front of him. Is there like drum sheet music or something? All four limbs are doing something different, and it’s not like this is a slow song or anything, lol. It seems like the guitar dudes get all the props with their solos and the like, but they’re only using their hands, these drummer people are using their feet too!! Imagine how exhausting that must be after a show. Anyway, amazing job man!👍🏻

i’m a drummer, it’s all coordination. when i first started my limbs would move at the same time but after a while you forget the usual muscle movement and can start to do different things

Jay Gee Beats I get it man, it’s a learned skill you need to practice and you’ll get better over time, but still, to a non drummer guy, it looks absolutely amazing! If you can do anything even close to what dudes doing in the video, my hat is off to you my friend. 🍻

Man...I can only imagine the high this dude gets without the use of drugs. Only by playing his drums like a boss! I dream of being able to one day find a talent that gets me that kind of high!!👍👍
