A lot of people will disagree but NASCAR needs this guy. He's got personality and everyone is saying none of these guys have personality anymore. Racers back in the day had personality so it made the sport fun and entertaining. Kyle Busch has that. He brings something different to the table. He drives well, wins races/championships, and has personality. Love it or hate it but NASCAR would take a loss not having him around on Sundays.

Translating his salary into revenue for the sport is the problem though. Sponsors are hard to come by unlike the old days. And drivers from back in the day didn't demand such high salaries. Not even Sr made what these guys are making direct from the team.

Never put much thought into the Busch boys. Until I saw Kurt finish a race on a road course with a busted axle. (wheel hanging out of body) And when I saw Kyle save a sideways car with only 3 wheels on the ground at Daytona I knew objectively that the Busch boys are the best to ever do it.

10:20 !!!! That was the most important thing Kyle Busch said in the whole world of Nascar. Everyone keeps thinking because of how Kyle acts, no one will sponsor him, that is NOT the case. Nascar is LOOSING fans, "SPONSORS", and so much more endorsements (I guess that would fall under sponsors) In the time table of this happening was when Kyle Larson slurred the N word, Nascar banned the confederate flags and when Bubba Wallace pulled off that dumb hoax. What that concludes is people/fans and big CEO'S hate a sport that politicizes or plays politics and that will loose or devalue the organization which is "NASCAR" as a whole. 99% of the “reporters” in this are asking garbage questions… Media: Kyle, do you like Pop-Tarts, and if you do is it because the gravitational force of the Earth on the moon because some people don’t like Pop-Tarts due to the more they eat the more gravity causes their weight to increase, so is that something you think about in the car, like what flavors of Pop-Tarts do you think about when you’re racing, if you like Pop-Tarts that is… But do you prefer the crust or the frosting filling more if you decide you might like Pop-Tarts because most people seem to. That last little section is big and more fans need to hear it, as KFB have the most honest answer to the “car hitting harder” situation. These are things you don’t know until real world situations. You can’t put a sensor over every square inch of a crash test dummy. You can’t measure pain. Etc. the forces the drivers are seeing are “safe”, they just aren’t comfortable. I’m sure, after the season, NASCAR is going to sit down and make alterations to the cars to help soften them, but those are very difficult changes to make mid season, and evidently the information being brought to NASCAR isn’t to the level that would require immediate action. In other words, no one is going to die or get seriously injured; they may be sore for a few days, though

As a bottom level ( sportsman, pure stock) car builder/ owner / crew chief a couple of my drivers years ago were saying how much they hated Kyle and couldn't understand why I've been a big fan since Kyle was a teenager I replied your same answer. A driver may be great for the media like Kenny Wallace or Michael waltrip but finishes 20th every week. I don't want that driver driving for me. I want a driver who's angry as hell with a second place finish and telling me all the reasons that first place didn't happen. That feedback is like gold to me. Once I explained then my drivers saw it from a different point of view and changed how they viewed Kyle thereafter.
