To be completely honest , when I saw Grace Randolph's tweet earlier today saying that Kyle Chandler is a weak choice for role of Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern for the upcoming DCU lanterns tv show , I was very shocked and very surprised that people who are subscribers to her KZbin channel " Beyond The Trailer " said that the new DCU franchise is not an established universe meaning they don't know that the DCU is an established universe , it should settle it once and for all that Grace Randolph and people who are subscribers to her KZbin channel " BTT " are arch nemesises of the new DCU franchise and they cannot be trusted because they're not very smart

Honestly, any creative choice disliked by Randolph and her sycophants means it's probably a good one and gives me hope lol. Her bias against Gunn is legendary and everything that comes out of her mouth about DC Studios and the DCU is skewed.

Right, this is a shared universe with hopefully a 20 year run to come. He might be a little too old. They should have John Stewart in his 20's and Hal in is 30's or 40's, at most, so that they're in their 40's and 50's or 60's respectively when they wrap up their first big DCU saga.

Oh brother. They are starting with a Clark who's only been Superman for 2-3 years and needs to be young enough for the 10 year plan. John Stewart is going to be the main younger Green Lantern who is Superman's age. The Green Lantern Corps has existed for ages and Hal is a veteran Lantern legend who's been at it for many years in this universe. This is not hard to grasp unless you just don't want to.
