Honestly my favorite part of this interview is the amount of respect he gives his wife and kids spends more time talking about them than the tournament

Finished like a champ with big high amplitude move (suplay) and a turn! International community (after his 4x world champion success) was studying/training for him at Paris and his techniques, but he still came through big with the bronze. Up there with all time greats in the sport...Great way to come back from a tough loss in the semis and in life) and never quit when down at the end...

I know he'll be 37 in 2028 but man I feel like I want him to win gold as much as he does

I hope so, but father time is catching up. I’m sad for the US. I was really pulling for Aaron Brooks

What an awesome athlete and class act. I'm a huge fan and look forward to seeing Kyle wrestle again. I pray for his continued healing from the loss of his father. I lost mine not long ago and I know its super hard. Stay well and stay hungry my friend!

Hold your head High Dake! I love the way you handle adversity and disappointment. Life is so much more than wrestling but wrestling is life right? Enjoy and take in the Silver you shine brightly for the stars and strips. You represent your family well. I give you the Gold for your husband and father position in life. Look forward from hearing more from you in life. Lord Bless!!

How good are you if you beat Kyle Dake?

I’d say if you beat Kyle Dake, you are pretty decent. 🙃

leg laces points are bullshit. You shouldn't be able to get so many points. Maybe one point per turn should be the rule.
@JS456783 ай бұрын
Great comment! 👏👏👏 I have felt this way since I competed in the 1970s & 80s. Once caught in a lace, the match is over. I’ve seen many World Champions caught in laces and finished off in seconds. Worst rule.

Maybe show a little more respect towards your opponent. Having a tantrum ain't gonna solve anything.

Watched Dake wrestle for decades. His skills have come at a high cost. He like the others high level wrestlers from the United States have sacrificed much. They are blessed because of the finance backing and the elite coaching arenas they work from. They unlike other common folk are blessed to pursue their dreams. However, Kyle Dake embarrassed a lot of American citizens because of his whiny temper tantrum he threw on the mat on an international stage. Unlike Aaron Brooks who handle himself like a mature man when faced with not winning a gold. Aaron Brooks winning the bronze showed the true character of a true champion. Dake showed himself to be just a WINNER of the bronze. Brooks is the CHAMPION of the bronze. Brooks acted like a man. Dake acted like a child.
