Kyle Eastwood, hijo de Clint Eastwood, es toda una estrella del jazz. Hoy actúa en el Festival de Palencia, como una de las figuras del certamen. Considerado uno de los mejores contrabajistas del momento presenta su octavo disco "Candid Kyle". Es compositor y arreglista de bandas sonoras, incluidas las de su padre, así que el talento viene de familia´. Creció escuchando el jazz y el blues que ponían sus padres en casa. También acudió a varias ediciones del Festival de Jazz de Montreux e incluso conoció a Ella Fitzgerald y Dizzy Gillespie. En esta ocasión no faltarán piezas de "In Transit", un trabajo que incluye temas originales y versiones de Thelonious Monk o Count Basie. Así ocurrió ayer al frente de su quinteto en el Festival de Jazz de Granada. Kyle Eastwood ha participado en la música de películas oscarizadas y dirigidas por su padre, como "Million Dollar Baby" y "Gran Torino". Volverá para participar en el Festival de Jazz de Madrid, el próximo 22 de noviembre. Música independiente novedades.
