They literally described my bathroom remodel from last year. Dude said he’d get it done in a month, then left for three months after not finishing it in the first month and a half. Then came back and finished in another months time. The final product is crooked as all hell and I’ve had to personally fix three things in the bathroom already. After it was all said and done, it took four and a half months total, it was a crap job, and obviously it ended up costing nearly twice as much as I was quoted. Crooks! The lot of em! I couldn’t not pay. He would’ve taken me to small claims court and wiped me out because nothing was written down in the beginning (gentleman’s agreement). So he had receipts and I had nothing but anecdotal evidence of a scumbag contractor. Always get it in writing!

Right on, I hear ya. All it takes is 1 greedy contractor to put a bad taste into the entire industry, same with greedy auto technicians. Good luck 👍🏼 and Word up

I hate that this is the preconceived notion of all contractors. It's only going to get worse as the qualified pool of skilled tradesmen shrinks.

Don’t take the lowest bid 😂 google is a useful tool it always blows my mind when some ppl that use yelp and research restaurants/hotels/movies but put little to no effort in researching the contractors/builders they use.
