Interested in getting content early and supporting the channel? If so, feel free to become a member of the brand new Patreon! I will be doing exclusive livestreams and giving you early access to videos if you join the All Star tier. If you join the Hall of Fame tier, I will be giving specific, detailed team advice for you based on your specific league settings and suggesting trades for you and so much more! I will also create custom videos, per your request, if you join the Hall of Fame tier. Any support would be greatly appreciated since I am unable to collect any revenue from film breakdown videos due to the film being copyrighted material and am having trouble becoming a KZbin partner because I make the film breakdowns to begin with, making it impossible to earn revenue. 🙃 patreon.com/TheFantasyFootballStrategist

Some people think these young men are static or hit ceiling at 20 years old - yes can have mistakes - both his potential really pops

Not going to lie... he graded out WAY higher than I would have expected. If he gets those Darnold-like turnovers under control, there's a good chance he works out.

Confident play, killer arm talent.

After my first watch of him, I graded him extremely low, but with this hype for him I'll have to rewatch, I just saw minimal tools and a not very translatable play style.

If the guy who was at Ohio State was the guy on film this year, he'd be a late round option. The games from 2024 watched were his game against Pittsburgh (0 TDs to 5 INTs), VT (2 TDs to 1 INT), Georgia Tech (4 TD to 0 INT) and Miami (3 TD to 0 INT). He has elite arm talent, great accuracy when stationary, quick through reads and resets his feet for every read and extends the play in the pocket quite well. He unfortunately makes Darnold-like mistakes when he doesn't anticipate the pressure correctly and his throw on the run accuracy isn't particularly great. He was doing the heavy lifting this year.

@@coltonvanburen9755 And this is also just an opinion of ours in regards to his grade. We don't consider what other analysts say about players and just watch what is on film. Another thing to consider is that coaching matters a ton, so if he goes to a place with poor coaching, I don't think he'll be great, but that's true with most quarterbacks, except true studs.

@@TheFantasyFootballStrategist A lot of my evaluation was probably skewed because of the Pitt game, he just looked terrible in that game.

@@coltonvanburen9755 A few big mistakes early and then they were forced to throw so much that the rest was the result of being down multiple scores and having no choice but to try and force it. Agreed, though, and like I said in another comment, he scored WAY higher than I thought he would. I'm not a fan of Ohio State, Syracuse or him necessarily, so no bias here. The grades you see for every single player are just what I see in the sample size of games (generally four to five for QBs) watched, so a lot of grades won't follow consensus, but if you go back and look at consensus rankings, they are often VERY inaccurate after a couple of years to get a large enough sample size of NFL play to evaluate them. Don't be surprised if some of my takes look stupid or genius in hindsight, because both will happen.

@TheFantasyFootballStrategist I would never say any of your takes are stupid🤣 I'm not disagreeing or anything and I respect your opinion very much. Keep up the good work! I love being able to talk about these prospects.
