Kyle Petty talks Ricky Stenhouse Jr. vs. Kyle Busch All-Star fight

Joey Logano won the NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro but all the buzz centered around the post-race fight between Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kyle Busch.
Stenhouse made it clear he was angry after Busch appeared to intentionally crash Stenhouse on Lap 2 of the 200-lap All-Star Race. Stenhouse parked his car in Busch's pit stall, climbed on the pit box to yell at Busch's crew chief and then said he was going to do something about it after the race. And sure enough, Ricky delivered on that promise, waiting for Kyle at his team hauler in the infield at North Wilkesboro.
From there, a shouting match erupted and the scrum went viral. They say don’t wreck the cars! Stenhouse takes care of it out of the car and gets a ridiculous fine while Kyle gets nothing for putting Ricky in the wall. I’ve been attending or watching NASCAR since we drove to Memphis and watched Mario win the Daytona 500 on closed circuit. The sport has outgrown my interest since it left the common man’s money and the fines have superseded the team’s budget for the season only a few years ago. Wood turning on my lathe will get more attention on Sunday. This comes from 60 plus years of being an avid fan.

IMHO, the wreck was exactly what Kyle described it as - Kyle slide up and Stenhiuse filled the gap. Secind, passion is okay. Yelling and arguments are okay. A brawl and threatening to wreck your opponent intentiknally the next race... should not be permitted and Stenhiusr got an appropriate fine but also should have been made to sit out the Charlotte race The suspension if the Stenhouse crew is also appropriate And eventhiugh I don't care for Busche, he was defending himself. They ganged up on him. Now for Stenhouse Sr. He was a third party, nit a member if the team. Nascar should ban him from the infield for at least 3 races. Make it clear that if you aren't a member if a team you don't get involved with disputes between teams and certainly don't hit a NASCAR driver. We shall see what NASCAR decides on that.

I was a diehard Nascar fan pretty much my entire life. Until about 10 years ago. I just could no longer tolerate shit show racing, boring cars, follow the leader, wimpy librarian drivers, can't pass you so I'll wreck you, and Nascar's constant poor decision making. The race at N. Wilksboro was a snoozer beyond description. Track owners greed was beyond belief starting 25 years or so ago with the buying of tracks just to get their date and then closing them down. As well as building and reconfiguring tracks just to build more grandstands and having to remove them down the road when all the fans left. Watkins Glen is only 60 miles away and I don't even go there anymore.

I think if a driver intentionally wrecks another driver, they should automatically be suspended from the next race. Or, if both sides agrees to it, they should get into a boxing ring and box it out.
