Kyle's FFX Overdrive Trick : Trick Tips!

Hey guys, Kyle here!
Now that I taught you how to learn the 'loner' overdrive mode, now to actually put it to use towards learning the main character's limits! Hope you enjoy the video and it is helpful for new and experienced FFX players alike!

Good advice on this getting Tidus his overdrives early on is really nice because of the sheer amount of damage he can do after getting more strength and such

How do u get the mode loner tho

get loner with tidus and auron at the very first fight. Kill 1 of them off then just stand there and press triangle a bunch of times (defend), till you get Loner. Then res tidus and do the same with auron. You can then res both and keep defending to get daredevil which takes time. Then kill the first mobs and kill sin spawn 'e' over and over with both guys to get slayer etc. Goodluck!

Thomas Jackson yup, I’ve already got them and also got Tidus’ blitz ace at around or even before Luca with the strat and spamming spiral cut against the thing that the guy’s fighting. So far I’ve got Yuna’s, Wakka’s, Tidus’ and Riku’s celestial weapons all the way max and I’ve taken care of dark Valefor and Bahamut as well as gotten all Jecht sphere’s, all the slots for Wakka, most of the primers and I think that’s about it for what I’ve got done...also, sin after destroying the fins to get inside him where he’s just charging up a finisher, that little s*** gave me trouble but I eventually beat him...also Seymour’s second form did too but meh. Right now I just have to get Auron’s Sigil and then I’ll be all set to start taking on the Aeons when I get to abuse the infinite AP glitch

Thomas Jackson good luck, you’ll need it if your want the sun Sigil, reason being is that you have to hope for RNG so you can start with 5 balloons then you have to collect 7 more on the way to the end avoiding birds (which takes off 3 seconds each hit) and reach the end within 36 seconds. When I did it I was listening to the song I’m the boss, and while I do admit it makes you feel like a boss, it is just bulls***, also for Rikus you don’t have to worry very much, the desert where you get her Sigil, all you have to do is find cactuars, kill then and steal their spheres, and for me I missed one mini game with it and even tho I didn’t catch it, it still gave me the sphere to progress, but the hole one, the ship one, and the final one all gave me a bit of trouble, but not as much as the one that makes you have to take slight steps to win and also checks often, that one is annoying, the butterfly mini game I also wish luck on your soul because that one is just bulls*** to get past because of how many red butterflies are around and the time you have to do it in. So yeah, good luck, and try to abuse some glitch’s like infinite AP to your advantage

Full cleared this game a few times and honestly see no single reason why you would want do to this, especially with Tidus' second overdrive being the only relevant one in the endgame.
