If you are any kind of bowler, you've thrown a ball that hit the pocket well enough that you expected a flush strike, and then, bam, a 7-10. It happens to everyone. It's part of bowling, like throwing stone ring 8's, ring 9's and ring 10's. That's one of the fun parts of bowling. NO ONE can throw a ball that he can say will 100% strike. Guys like Belmo and TJ and EJ, etc, throw many balls that are really absolutely perfect, and yet some of them mysteriously fail to strike. Most 7-10's result from the ball breaking a bit late, so it somewhat comes in and hits "behind" the 1 pin. That, plus a load of bad luck. Belmo sure got his share of bad luck here.
