As much as Rodri missing is hurting it’s not on Rodri lol it’s all on bad tactics that the manager isn’t able to figure out how to break a low block so he moves our two wingers into mid field because he refuses to change tactics and plays one CDM so he moves them up for CDM cover and usually either gvardiol or the rb be it walker or Lewis is then moving even more forward into over lapping runs and pushing into the opponents box which then means that one of our two remaining central defenders then has to step up for CDM cover which then leaves us with ONE center back and with such a high line we play that one center back is in the opposition half that way when the other team gets the ball the can just hit it over the top and counter because their forward will never be offsides

I don't know what we've been missing lately... but we've been winning matches for quite some time... always conceding a few goals... this defeat doesn't determine anything... the players have most likely slowed down the game too much, becoming too predictable not only for the opponents, but also for ourselves... thus suffering even more counterattacks... which we struggle to manage and counter... this makes me think of many things... and above all from now on we must not continue to always mull over excuses... we must bring the work home... in this moment of difficulty it is essential that in the players' heads... they can transform this negative energy... into positive energy... we can do it... we are the champions... we have already done it in the past... we just need to want it... and do it again... let's put it into practice... no matter what the cost... everyone must step up... demonstrate that you can bring out the talent and creativity of the young players in the academy... while the more experienced simply have to have more intensity and malice in their plays... situations that are assumed and obtained only with the passage of time... and finding that hunger in the eyes too... those famous ''eyes of the tiger''... wouldn't hurt at the moment... otherwise concentrate and be hungry on the next games... let's do it buddy... I'm my opinion, Pep just loves 40 passes b4 a player is allowed to even LOOK at the net. Hence why HAALAND gets sooooooooo frustrated. Watch him during games..... He makes less runs now. There is no overlap runs when Saviniho or especially Doku get the ball, like there use to be in season with Sterling and Mahrez days. Now, players edge of box just stand flat footed watching, time after time after time.

They started to figure out the manager two seasons ago but arsenal collapse both years have made him look better then he is. Look what he had sitting on the bench in Palmer...you think we don't have talent , maybe not the same as Palmer, but playable talent? Wright came on for Haaland and had like 3 or 4 scoring chances, O'Reilly almost leveled the game for us against spurs if not for a goal line clearance, mcatee can play the gundo role better than gundo based on the minutes I've seen him play. But Pep likes to stick with his "system". Well we will be suiting up Scott Carson in goal soon because Ederson and Ortega will need to play as outfielders if they keep dropping like flies and Pep does not learn. But the academy can help.

LB and Nobbins, I highly recommend you actually watch Pep's press conferences, instead of just reading his responses. So much of what he says gets misinterpreted, and subsequently those misinterpretations get perpetuated by voices like yours. Only reading excerpts removes context, tone, etc.

To me, its Pep's high line tactical change thats the problem with defence. We got away with it last season, as teams weren't expecting it, but we hardly ever keep clean sheets now, which is a massive shift since the treble season & this season its just NOT working. Pep should have abandoned it after tge Rodri injury for me. Leave the 2 centre backs back near Eddie

For me it's on the ball structure is killing our defence this is too much exposure, we need to leave our six and 3 defenders near the halfway line, that will also allow us to have space in the final third with fewer players in there, affording us protection and let the opposition come out of their box

I do think that pep needs to start using our academy more. That is one thing I will say I don’t like about pep and I’m the biggest pep fan. Look at what Barca is doing right now with their team. They just beat a Galáctico Real Madrid side 4-0 with about 5-6 academy products… we on the other hand are selling them to other teams and letting them become something. I just hope whoever replaces pep utilizes our academy more because clearly we produce the talent.

Pep keeps playing him in the wrong position. He really isn't having a great season tbf, but last season he was players footballer of the year. So pleased for Nunes though, his speed & passing are great. Now we just need him to score more & he's a starter for me, over the other 2

Personally think with all the problems we should go 100% for the CL and lets see how the PL goes... Reason being it is less games and when it gets serious we will have players back and have the Jan window to use! Not a total cop out, but concentrating effort on the easier comp to win!! In Jan we should go for Zubermendi and Gyokeres... Zubermendi obviously for Rodri and Gykores for 2 reasons... he is Kane like and an all rounder we can use with Haaland or with out and the biggest reason... Stop him going to another club... because he will make a nearly club into winners and we cannot afford that! It will cost, but not as much long term if we do not do it!!

The CL is full of teams that are really good in transition that will be able to bully our midfield. Given that we concede so many counter attacks against teams like Fulham, Wolves, Bournemouth etc, teams like Barcelona and Liverpool, would take advantage of pep‘s highline and eat us alive in transition. It’s just too risky to go all out for the CL cause just a single one off game against one of those teams is enough to see us out of the competition. I think we should try to go all out for the PL and see what happens in the CL tbh.

They appear to spend a split second talking bout the positives, if they see any, and castigate Walker for the entire show. Rico as a right back, has appeared suspect and venerable when under attack, or caught on the counter and they sweap it under the counter.
