A very poorly judged drive from Demmler behind Pure Steel, should have put the horse into the race a lap early, should have eaten those horses for breakfast.

Pure Steel was absolutely amazing. An Incredible animal who had the greatest stamina and heart I have ever seen in an equine....... thoroughbred or standard bred.

Cowboy Demmler at his usual best! A pity Steelo''s connections kept using Demmler as Steelo''s reinsman as Demmler''s driving skills have always been in question and cost Steelo some big race wins.
