Really enjoyed this! Can you tell me what kind of paint you use? I'm thinking about getting an airbrush, but I'm having trouble finding info on what to use for wood that will be kept outside. Thanks!😁

Dan Mullins I use acrylic water base paint for the air brush then use an exterior polyurethane for a finish. I carve mostly pine .

Have you ever heard of the "jets" stihl recommends putting in chainsaws if you carve? Apparently running a saw half throttle causes it to run too rich and it can blow it up. I never heard of such a thing, but that is what the guy at the dealer told me.

Never heard of that , I have had many conversations about saws with some very talented and very seasoned carvers and that’s never been a topic. It’s always be ready for kick back , keep your saws sharp , and different techniques. I have been running the same two ms 170 since I started carving and they haven’t blown up yet . Sounds like he wants more $$$$
