Fair analysis overall but I find it hard to bet moneyline or spread bets against either of these teams. Both BUF and MIA struggled in week 1 and had to come from behind, but I think MIA struggled more offensively and barely* got away with a W. This is the type of game to bet prop or TP instead due to all the factors, don't try to force a moneyline/spread bet even if you're ultimately correct. I don't trust Hawk Tua and because of that theres no chance I can go with MIA here, give me Tua under 268.5 passing yards and I would lean under 48.5 TP.

The line probably has Miami as favorites because of the opponents they each had in week 1. Bills had a competitive game against a team that bettors might think should have been a wipe-out, meanwhile Miami won a competitive game against a previously mid-tier team from last season. Also Bills offense can be seen as having a WR deficit because they lost Diggs and Davis, who were each key members of their wins from last season.

On that note, I don't think the books were actually "wrong". I think the books manipulate what the line should be to favor the underdog. Look at all the stats surrounding this particular matchup, nothing has changed in the past 3+ seasons right? Josh Allen (Buffalo) dominate Miami (Tua) every single time, sometimes its close but for the most part Buffalo wins comfortably. Josh Allen in particular has one of the best prime time records, Josh Allen is 6-0 on TNF. Virtually all the stats say Buffalo is going to win this game and yet somehow the books are favoring Miami? Doesn't make any sense whatsoever, that's why I avoided any ML/Spread bets and only went for the prop bets (3/3 for the record) and 1 TP bet. (waiting for that) I can understand you picking Miami ML which could be a sharp play but I can't understand the sportsbooks favoring a team that has lost 9/10 against this Buffalo team. Even if there is a hunch Miami might* win, the line should still favor Buffalo since nothing major has changed.

This line started out with Miami as a favorite which is insane considering Miami has won 1/10 against Buffalo over the past several years. So you have to ask yourself, what changed so drastically that made the books think Miami should be the favorite here? Nothing did and that's my point. Its not like Miami got a new QB or 3 new WR'ers with 10 years in the league and insane stats. If anything week 1 should have been a good outlook on Tua because I think he/Miami offense looked like garbage. Sure Miami won but that game was decided by 80% Miami defense, 10% luck, 10% Miami offense. Im not saying Miami is total garbage but against Josh Allen/Buffalo they are 3rd class citizens.
