This was 10 years ago. No publisher put something like this anymore. But they should. There are people with potato pcs and it is not even time consuming to bake the textures in this resolution. Literally seconds And they dont even need to bake them. Simply changing the export srttings from texturing program (usually substance painter) does the job Plus, i really dont understand why majority of the aaa games do not let you disable shadows. I swear publishers forgot what optimization mean I expect they will not even try to do LODs anymore.
