The Ol Trike Trainer getting a work out! What a great addition to the school it's made!

Great content and the trike trainer is the best thing invented for training. Not surprised coming from you.

Hell yeah! You need to build a fleet of trike trainers and start selling them to other schools!

I like the little buggy. gets you a lot of wing time with little work. great idea

This should be a standard way of training for all paramotor schools much better than running around with a spinning prop right behind you. Thanks for posting this great content. If they ever have a PPG Hall of Fame, you will be in it!

I'm telling ya, you are just about to get me to do this.... The trike is the key... I of course can't foot launch, so you showing me that your teaching and using the trike, it's a game changer. Guessing you also fit me to a certain brand and size of a trike and wing, just like those who footlaunch... (Large!) Thanks

Thats great how when the kite dipped to the left how went off road, avoided the water and kept with it.

What an amazing piece of equipment. Like you said you don't have to worry about a propeller chewing up a wing or lines. I could watch videos like this all day long so I guess it's a good thing you only make them 10 minutes long 😆. Seriously though thanks for sharing the great videos with us Kyle and I hope you are doing well.

Looks like a lotta fun. Prolly not near as loud and mistakes arent as costly either. Learning was tough for me. I got VERY discouraged and can thank my instructor for letting me borrow some of his courage. After a LOT of sweat and fear, I made a first flight. Instantly hooked! Like most things seen on the internet, some people make it look easy. Maybe I'm just a slow learner, but it being tough, only brings me more pride. That first ever taxi was on point! We'll be seeing him in the air VERY soon I'm sure. Thanks for sharing!

That trike-mobile-buggy is pretty sweet! What a great training tool. Wow, seeing heat thermals in your zoomed-in shots! I haven't seen that in 6 months around these parts, lol. I'll be happy if we get 55° for a few days in a row here, let alone 80°! Gonna be teens for a couple mornings here soon. I have weather-envy of you fellers. 😂 I'm going to have to use mine as a trainer here, since I haven't flown since weeks before I broke my hand, and that was about 6 months ago. Feeling REAL rusty. It was clear after I busted my hand that I needed to be doing that anyway, since I was developing some bad habits (Not looking at wing long enough and just going hammer down). My flyin' buddy even suggested I do some taxis and touch-n-go's to hone my skills, but I just wanted to FLY, lol - wrong way to do it. Got to get that experience of handling the machine on the earth before the flying part. Flying is easy! It's the getting off the ground and landing part that can get tricky, as I learned the hard way! Anyway, thanks for sharing, Kyle, and nice work, Brook! 🍻

I'm in Vancouver, WA starting training now. I'm in a wheelchair so foot launch will never be an option. It would be awesome if you could make a detailed video on the trainer so I could show my local instructor.

Is there a chance that the trainer could actually lift off in a gust of wind?
@kyleoglee2 жыл бұрын
Obviously a paraglider could lift thousands of pounds with the right wind. We don't do wheeled operations in those conditions. It has bucked in the air a few feet when a student has let it undergo a collapse followed by a shock inflation, but both times they just kept on pushing and recovered nicely.
