I think they give you the extra shoulder pieces because he takes off the cape before he fights, so you can have him wearing the cape during cape season and no cape for fighting

Fun fact.. that's not M Bison at all..... that's Vega (yes, really lol).... M Bison was originally the character we know as Balrog (Mike Tyson - M Bison, get it?) When they went to America they didn't want to be sued, and they didn't want to be obvious so they shuffled 3 character names.... the Balrog of Japan became Vega in the US, Vega became Bison, and Bison Balrog...... Balrog wasn't in the first runs of Street Fighter 2 in the US for this reason as well. Most OG's know this.. but some of the newbs probably just had their mind blown lol

I will give you a hint as to what the "M" stands for. In Japan "M. Bison" is the boxer. They did not want to get sued so they changed the names around.

Kyle, I too thought that M. Bison was from the U.S.S.R. I guess his flag is actually the emblem of the criminal organization he runs. He is southeast Asian as his racial heritage. The man has panache! A commanding cap, snappy uniform, and an entrance making cape😏 Jada has met it's own bench marks. Super review ✌️

I just noticed that M Bison figures from reviewers have glossy bodies. Maybe North America area got the glossy batch, while Asian areas have the matte finish (which I have) 😅

Jada Toys does it again! For $24.99, you get one great quality figure. Pay attention, Hasbro! This is how it's done. Jada Toys definitely gave us a figure for wild Young Turks!

I pre ordered mine, unfortunately M. Bison isn't here yet. I just googled it. The M in Japan stands for Mike. Bc M. Bison is apparently a parody of boxer Mike Tyson. I don't see it. However, Capcom never explained what the M stands for in western releases.

The history with the names. M. Bison was originally the name for Balrog (and Vega was originally the name for M. Bison), but they didn't want a lawsuit, so they switched the names.

The SDCC Ken isnt actually a repaint, its Violent Ken who is a playable character in Ultra Street Fighter 2, much like Evil Ryu.

I would love to have Street Fighter figures from Jada Toys, However, I will try to get at their least Ryu and Chun Lee because they do look cool but M. Bison looks badass and brawn with that effect, Overall, Awesome review on him Kyle.

This figure's proportions seem off. He seems a bit too stubby. Seems like his legs should be a bit longer. That gripe aside, this is a great figure. I love the wired cape. If Jada can include a wired cape for the same price as a Marvel legends figure, why can't Hasbro?

I’ve got the Jada fei long just to see what all the fuss was about with Jada and tbh I’m not a fan. For the price yeah can’t argue that but to me it felt rough and looked rough and I won’t be investing in no more and if they do mortal kombat I won’t be interested either
