If Jada Street Fighter had more than 3 figures in 2023, they could definitely be a contender. Best engineering I've ever seen for action figures. Reasonably priced. Great scale, great packaging. They'll be the line to watch in 2024 once the roster fills out. And while they didn’t do much in the way of innovation, I feel like Marvel Legends had a good year under the radar. The MCU is obviously not what it used to be, which I feel has turned eyes off the product. But they had some really nice comic figures this year. Both the X-Men and Avengers anniversary lines were incredible, with great character selection.

Great video as always! Neca better not stop short with the Universal line. We haven’t even gotten a Masque of the Red Death figure yet. I don’t except the line to go as deep as Sideshow did back in the day but there’s still plenty of meat on the bone. Igor, Renfield, Werewolf of London. Hell give me sdcc exclusive Henry Frankenstein. If we can get a thousand ninja turtles every year (which I love) we should be able a couple more series of Universal Monsters. Horror fans will open their wallets for some deeper cuts.

5. Star Wars Black Series / 4. Neca Universal Monsters / 3. Furay Planet / 2. Super7 Ultimates (I basically collect it all so I couldn’t narrow it down to one property from them) 1. Neca TMNT (Again, I love it all- the toon line, movie line, The Last Ronin, Archie Comics and Mirage Comics) ok fine if I have to pick one I go with the Mirage line 😉

The WWE Superstars line is the only line that I'm actively collecting. I'm only missing Mr Perfect and Bam bam... I WAS collecting the MOTU line...but the distribution issues and lack of interesting characters forced me to abandon it. Now I just mostly customize mego style figures and occasionally pick up whatever I think is cool, like the Grunga toys Death Wish custom set. I dunno...the whole toy collecting thing...I think I'm getting burnt out...

I totally saw it coming to. Maybe not this big of one yet. I also sadly feel the lack of accessories from other companies that used to include more was because of mcfarlane toys. Heck, to get an extra head mcfarlane has everyone buying a whole other figure. Except for a couple exceptions. We'll see I guess how this goes.

2024 will be the year that McFarlane toys will do away with the twist ties. As far as the Elite line goes, I need a Cody to go with my Dusty. The Charlotte I have that goes with my Ric Flair have similar colored outfits. I wish Cody would do a black and yellow to match his Dad's outfit.
