One of the best things about this scene is Ramirez's adaptation. He knows he's a different time so outside of things he's just completely unaware of, he doesn't act like a moron like so many of movies where a character of the past goes into the future.

No matter how things have advanced, a tailor is still a tailor, and we pay him with money, and the government collects taxes. He is very confident that he understood those things that never change.

@@TheNYCGoldenGlover if you want to watch 2, the renegade cut would be the one I recommend watching. it takes an absolutely abhorrent movie and makes it watchable. the whole painful "they came from another planet" storyline was torn out the best they could. if you could stomach 3, you should be able to stomach 2RC.

Actually, it could be the reverse. Adrian Paul, if given the opportunity and should he choose to, would be perfect to play young and old Ramirez. If they ever decided to do a revamp of Highlander, it would be Adrian Paul as Ramirez, Richard Madden as Connor Macleod, Kit Harrington as Duncan Macleod, and Kristofer Hivju as the Kurgan.
