As someone who works for Abercrombie where most of their jeans are like 100$ or less depending on sales, same for the sister company Hollister Co. If it’s any where near the same jean material i’d give her a little pass for the price , but since it seems like it isn’t the same quality. 2 thoughts: 1. If Kylie wants to have this many brands launching so many things, she needs to take the time to develop different target markets and audiences for each brand so the number of launches doesn't seem so exhausting. She's never tried to market past her own fanbase, and that's why there's so much fatigue around her many ventures. 2. As a seamstress, I don't find the price of the jeans that exorbitant. All clothing would be much more expensive if we actually paid factory workers a living wage. This isn't to say I'm supporting Kylie's prices, because I highly doubt she's working with an ethical factory that allows for proper working hours and compensation. Additionally, I recognize that paying what clothing is actually worth will never be a reality as long as wages continue to not catch up to where they should be in this country so people have the proper discretionary income to spend. It's all a very complicated discussion that just kind of ends with a general sentiment of "pay people more everywhere."
