... After the diagnosis in May 2005, Madonna was the first one to send a message to Kylie. “I was saddened to learn about Kylie Minogue’s breast cancer diagnosis. I’m so grateful that they found it early. (Yet another reminder for all women to have annual mammograms.) Aside from being tremendously talented, Kylie’s a fighter and I know this is a battle she will win. Let’s all pray for her speedy recovery and send all of our best wishes her way. When Kylie recovered she returned to finish the tour 1.5 years later at the end of 2006, now called "Showgirl: The homecoming tour" No one wanted a refund for the cancelled concerts and even more people wanted to see her return to the stage, so they added more dates for Australia and back in the UK. The concerts had a break in the middle, changed choreography so she doesn't stress her body, and new more comfortable costumes, which would be less stressful for her changed body. She gained some weight after the chemotherapy. As she said herself her body bloated from the chemotherapy, but she used to live with it and prefer not to stress it anymore... You can react to the "same" Better The Devil... performance from the second part of the tour after the cancer... It's the same in its core, but so different at the same time. You will see what i mean :)

I went to this concert in Earls Court London. One of the. Best days of my life. Unfortunately it was one or 2 days prior to her cancer diagnosis. But I also went to her Showgirl Homecoming in Sydney following her cancer treatment 😊

the "original" Showgirl tour called "The greatest hits tour", just days before she was diagnosed with breast cancer. When they moved to Australia for the concerts there they found the illness before the start of the leg. She looked beautiful, but very unhealthy and thin since the start of the promo era for Ultimate Kylie until the end of the Showgirl tour. Especially during an interview as a guest at Stefan Raab's show together with the rapper Nelly. She looked so fragile... Everyone was wondering what is going on and why she became so thin in the second half of 2004 til the beginning of 2005. After the diagnosis in May 2005, Madonna was the first one to send a message to Kylie...

valencia have you reacted to the offical video that came out in 1990 when she was going out with micheal hutchance lead singer of aussie band inxs? she got carried around to get her through the crowd and back to stage when she did her residency. i also saw a yt short of her being carried to stage at the bst hyde park last sat by actor andrew scott and jonathan baily as she as in her padam red latex and heels.she was headlining. lets face it she prob weighs 8 stone not counting the weight of her costumes which is not a prob for 2 guys.

@@ValenciaGamble I wonder if Kylie is proper friends with actor Andrew Scott now cause she did her second an audience with show at the royal Albert hall on 10 Dec 2023 . Andrew was one of the celebs that asked her a question in-between songs.you could see there was mutual admiration. I wonder if they kept in touch after that or he said he was coming to the concert in Hyde park and she had given him a backstage pass along with Jonathan and asked them if they would help her to the stage? An audience with is a show that isn't on reg every year just every now and then. A singer or comedian that have been in the biz for a while will perform in front of a audience made up of reg people who get the seats at the back and celeb fans that sit at the front and get to ask questions in between songs or stand up routines. Kylie did it in 2001 as well.i think she's the only one to do it twice?

After the UK leg of this tour, Kylie had to cancel because of her breast cancer. I saw her in Manchester, and you could see she wasn't well.
