I was also surprised that this was the song she won the Grammy for but my reasoning is the versatility of the song. You’ve seen that this dance song can actually be performed live on the Fever tour . It also has a killer Fischerspooner remix which is what I think it really won for. This song was also performed acoustically and still doesn’t lose its sentiment which I think gave it a little more range over the other contenders that year.

The issue with the song itself is the radio mix they decided to release. The better version is the original album version, which is hard to get now, unless you buy the original CD. In the original mix the vocal tracks sound stronger and it carries more punch. And the video? Well, no words needed.

You just experienced the power of the music video. Another couple of reasons this song is so loved. There is another version to the song called the Fischerspooner Mix. She performed that version of the song on Top of The Pops and the TOTP awards show. It's a much more heavy, electro sound. Also, the Fever Tour performance of this song is totally iconic. Beyonce' copied it later.

Yeah love the video but hated what they did with the track. This is not the original recording of the song, it wasn't on the original album. For some reason they changed the original album track to this one because they wanted to switch things up since the album had already been out for a year. The problem is this version is the version on spotify and the version people think this is the version on the album when it's not. CIMW is really a much better song than this version and once you her the Fisherspoon remix you understand fully why it won the grammy. CIMW is really what made me go out and buy the album and why I am a Kylie fan. At that time I had never heard a sound like Fever before.

There is a video on KZbin on the making of this. It was done in one shot!!! I presume all the other actors had to 'move a few feet' between each Kylie circuit, and Kylie had to walk the slightly different path of each of the four loops. Crazy!

I never quite got why she won the grammy for this song...how do you dance to this beat anyways....makes no sense...agree with you Sal, there were more deserving tracks in fever to snatch the award...I know CGYOOMH was played non stop and it was so cool that after the millionth playing it turned almost uncool but it sure shouldve won the grammy...having said that, this video is far too good; so edgy and mind blowing....probably kylie's best after All The Lovers'....
