Love your reaction VG! This coincided with International Women's Day 2024. If you see how Madonna introduced Kylie onto the stage (some of the longer clips of this performance have the full intro), you'll see the mutual respect they have for one another. Kylie is the only guest she sang with & she sang a Kylie song! Madonna doesn't do that for just anyone. And yep, back at the EMAs (European Music Awards) in 2000, Madonna wore a Kylie Minogue tee, like the Madonna tee Kylie's wearing on stage. Their history goes way back. It's really good to see them supporting each other, like they have, for so long. It's a great example to the up & comers in the pop industry today.

Oh Madonna hugged her allright you started watching as the performance started but Madonna did a whole presentation welcoming her to the stage paying hommage on how much Kylie was a survivor too etc..

Madonna was wearing Kylie and Britney Spears t-shirts circa 2000. This was before she really "knew" either of them. She just thought it was important to actively support the "pop princesses" because she knew how difficult and even lonely it could be to be put on a pedestal and adored while simultaneously criticized and scrutinized for everything you do. ❤

I loved seeing them together. I will survive is the perfect song for them. In my head they release a studio version done just like this. Both have survived so much, both had near death experiences, both were counted out in the beginning of their careers kylie being called a singing buggie and madonna a talentless yet both are still breaking records, queens both of them. Janet also went to kylies residency. I love seeing queens with nothing to prove get along.

Kylie and Madonna have been fans of each other for years.. this was the first time they had seen each other in over 10 years and this was the first time they got to perform together.. this is from earlier this year at Madonna's show in LA for the Celebration tour.. I hope they do a song together someday

It was performed because Kylie is recovering from Breast Cancer and Madonna almost passed away last summer.

Yeah, Kylie is always a joy but add Madonna isn't the whole package. Madonna is best when she is the center of the stage, sharing isn't her thing. Kylie shines as much as Madonna. Great to see them both nonetheless.
