I finally put a security camera in my garage so I could check that to make sure I closed the door. Have I ever left it open? No. Do I question if I closed it every single time? Yup. And with the superstitions... all the time! I had to eat so many hot dogs at hockey games for a while because every time I would start to take a bite, our team would score. Or my hands were wrapped in my coat a certain way... gotta keep doing that the rest of the game. Have told my own parents to leave the room because a team was doing good until they came in... at their own house when I was visiting

Maybe it's a field hockey thing. I played in high school and college and had similar rituals. My shin guards had to go outside of my socks, and my cleats had to be tied with the same tightness on right and left foot. I had to warm up with the same ball (I still have that ball and my stick 55 years later.) Come to think of it, I had just as many rituals playing softball and basketball.

Put an airtag in your car - my car-tag is in a chunky mechanical-looking case stuck under the dash, so it doesn't shout "airtag!" to any potential thieves (I have a very common car). If I can't remember where my car is, I pull out my phone and it will point to it. My memory is garbage, so I have tags stuck to _everything_ .

I am not superstitious at all but am paranoid about leaving any appliances on (especially the dryer or iron) when I leave the house. I have turned the car around many times to check and a couple of times I've left work (45 minutes each way) to make sure I had unplugged the iron even though it had an automatic turn off feature - why, I have pets. I would eventually get over my home burning to the ground but would never forgive myself if I lost any of my beloved pets because of that.

I never understood superstitions. Because if superstitions actually worked, you would win every game you did said action. But clearly the Eagles haven’t won every game Kylie was at so the actions she’s taking don’t actually have an affect. Obviously she has said she understands it doesn’t actually work. But it’s just interesting to me that so many people have these superstitions knowing they don’t actually work.

We have a rule in my friend's group that if we are out at a bar watching a pens game and someone goes into the bathroom during the game, your stuck in there for the rest of the game. The opposite is true too, if your in there when the other team scores your not allowed back in there until the game ends.

Imagine some team is paying your family millions of dollars and you are cheering for a different team, ridiculous. My superstition is during A PSU game if it’s an important play I take a sip of Chocolate Salted Tequila (blue and white martini glass) and I need to hold it in my mouth until the play is over. If they call a time out I just need to tough it out. PSU has no idea how many games I’ve won for them 😂😂😂😂😂😂
