I like how you used the sped up video to shorten these youtube videos. I heard you talking about trimming out sections of the video in one of your recent streams and I was unsure about how it would flow with missing sections of the game but this strategy seems to work really well!

Hey Kyle, just wanted to share how much fun I've had playing Risk over the last 6-8 months after finding your channel. I really enjoy the strategy and psychology that you present and your content has been a big piece in my continued engagement with the game after struggling early on. I play all kinds of settings (classic, progressive, caps and zombies mostly) and was pretty excited to make it to GM last month. Sending lots of reach-around slappers your way for the rest of 2023 and into 2024! 🤣 P.S. to all the mobile players out there, playing with a :120 timer was a huge benefit to my game!

What would be amazing is if you could set up a timer on caps of say an hour or two hours, after which the game turns into a semi-speedrun win condition (perhaps 8 turns to hold the most capitals with tiebreaker of most territories).

Or like a setting called "ticking timebomb" where at literally any point into the game this could happen. maybe with 10 minutes being the lowest possible and 2 hours being the highest possible time to trigger.

Game was over when you missed the purple>trade>red>trade kill because of chat. It was painful to see you just march on past the purple. Made me feel a bit better about all my bad mistakes. :D

Hahaha.. Most of my main channel videos in the future will be recorded off-stream. The Kylted Gaming channel will have more of the chat interaction and longer-form games going forward. I definitely do get impacted sometimes when I am caught up with the fun of Twitch chat lol

I was getting so into this game I was playing three or four games a day, but every game is either 3 hour stalemates or 20 minute obvious collusion were the first person who created the lobby and the first or second person who joined the lobby just obviously feed the win to the other player. Green takes SA turn two (creator), Yellow takes Africa turn two (second player), Black lines up on Europe, Purple in Australia turn three, I line up in NA, and Pink big stack in Asia. Yet for some reason Yellow will stack a 5 stack in Europe and NA... keep them from being taken, and then suicide out of Africa breaking everyone and slamming into the pink stack. Then Green will run into NA kill me, kill pink, and either slam into Australia, then Yellow just keeps suiciding into black. Ive had just this exact slam-a-jam happen in like 10 games this week, where the second player is always a new account and the creator is always a intermediate.

I feel you man. I host almost every single game I play and I find that I VERY RARELY experience collusion. I think that is the safest bet. Thank you for being here

I quit playing online because of this nonsense. I enjoy watching Kyle and some of the other high-level players in order to improve my game against FtF players. Playing Risk, Catan, and other popular online games with real opponents in a FtF game is so much more fun. Even Monopoly is pretty fun with real people when you play by the official rules.

at 27:00 I kind of wonder if Blue suspected Orange was weak because of you and Black emoting that much after he knew Orange and Black were fighting a lot. Not 100% sure, but that'd be my suspicion.

i finnally tried the capital mode on this map .... i really don't understand why it's so popular. i got an 8h game !!! WTF !!! almost died 3 times, had to start over everything, thank god the bot actually helped me smashing into the other guy at some point insted of breaking me all the time

I don't remember in the moment, I may have wanted to check his other caps troop total or do some weird pathing to make it harder for him to retake everything and cardblock me. If I do weird pathing its easier for my opponent to make a mistake to allow me to stay in the game.
