How does the bass clip the rest? I don't see it in the oscilloscope, but I can hear it.

Could be a result of how the channels are mixed since I think that part is analog and that results in non-linear mixing. (Not sure, to be honest) In any case, there is no clipping (samples beyond maximum value) in the master mix :)
