I’m a first time rider and just bought a Kpipe 3 days ago. I’ve put 100 miles on it. So far, I love it. The semi automatic set up is awesome for me, being a first time rider. My only complaint is the seat is fairly uncomfortable. Besides that, I’d recommend this bike to any first time rider, especially if the manual/clutch set up seems daunting. Great video

I do recommend removing the foot guard for the rear brake. Its a metal loop secured by a single bolt, which if (when) it comes loose, can wedge the rear brake on. If you want it (its worthless) use locktite on it. Ditto for the Muffler, and the tool kit is below the seat. And you need tools to remove the seat...to get to the tools. So keep the wrench to remove the seat zip tied to the bike frame somewhere. Hope you will never need it, but if you do, you will thank me for the tip.

How much should one expect to pay for a new kpipe in 2022? One store in my town lists for 2800$ plus tax and licensing. I thought that was high. I remember these going for 1800$ few years ago.

I have this one in Vietnam, and it’s a nice small bike for daily commute. Handles like a real motorcycle, way better than scooters that are the majority on the road here. For the price, its value is an absolute steal. In your review you forgot to mention a separate flash-to-pass button. In the States it’s probably unnecessary, but here in Asia you use it all the time. For the first time riders this bike is an excellent choice: not heavy, very easy to handle, great brakes, and feels amazing. And it looks nice too!

do you have 125 cc or 50 cc?
@yurygaltykhin6271 Жыл бұрын
@@playspeed1 I have 50cc. But I bought this one used, and I think it was converted to 70cc or maybe to 100cc by the previous owner.

@@yurygaltykhin6271 Yeah, I think about getting it, too. Looks dope. I'm also in VietNam. On their site in VN they just 50cc.

I miss the time when my bike was this clean. They didn't change anything from the latest model apart from the decals!

the bar is perfect, you can adjust it abit more to front to your comfort position, or back whatever you liked it

Looking for my first bike I think I'll go with this. Was looking at the yamaha tw200 but I'll probably go with this instead.
@domenik8339 Жыл бұрын
Nice choice, nobody talks about how low the life expectancy on the tw200 is - 20K before a rebuild. 🤮

Looks like it will need an oil cooler most people never realuze that their oil is getting over 212°F which is bad for the motor,, the gy6 engines with that fan and shroud get away with heat at the stop lights without an oil cooler...
@shorecycles410 Жыл бұрын
If you're in a hot climate you can probably switch to a full-synthetic 20w-50 for better protection against hotter engine temps.
@natvega1 Жыл бұрын
@@shorecycles410 too thick, I found that the best solution is a 65ml oil cooler with 4" fan, if you only ride less then 1 hour trip then you need nothing, the idea of an oil cooler is for trips over 1 hour, keeps oil temp at 180°~190°f. The fan is for if you hit traffic.
@shorecycles410 Жыл бұрын
@@natvega1 Thanks for the info. The K-Pipe owners manual in the USA states that 20w-50 is within the acceptable oil viscosity range for the K-Pipe. 20w-50 is generally usable down to 0 degrees C (32 degrees F), so as long as you ride above that temperature, according to KYMCO, 20w-50 works. Really depends on where you live and when you ride.
