Your videos are so informative and thorough. Thank you so much for putting this knowledge out there! I have this exact same scooter i will be rebuilding with a 70cc polini kit and a 19mm naraku carb. I have heard the standard cranks are pretty solid, would you agree? Not aiming for a full race build just a sport level tune. Mine has exact same kms 28000km with broken rings, some score marks on bore. I will definetly be checking the oil pump and possibly converting to premix, im not sure how the oil feed lines work with new carb yet. Still waiting on parts to arrive

Thanks mate🫡. The crank yes but def. check the bearings and seal if possible. All the best with this project.

@@scooterstreetau thanks I have checked it seems pretty tight definitely no up and down play, and only a bit of side to side which seems normal.

can you make a video about 2 stroke injection scooters? I have a gilera runner purejet that is not working. I live in the Netherlands and there are no mechanics in my area who can/will work on it. I can't find much information about it online, maybe you know more. love your vids

Hallo, In Australia we do not have many of this scooter. If we find one we will do some video. Sorry we cannot easily help. Thank you from Down Under🦘

Nice video again. Can you do one on the oilpump delete on a hiper2 watercooled? Do u just loop the oil pump inlet/outlet or delete it? (how to fixate the pulley on the delete tho, since it drives waterpump aswell)
@scooterstreetau6 ай бұрын
Hi and thank you, Start by removing the oil pump belt.
@Daisudori6 ай бұрын
@@scooterstreetau When the pump is removed the belt pulley for the oil/waterpump is not fixated anymore. Would some loctite be enough to keep this guy in place or is there too much forces going on?
@scooterstreetau6 ай бұрын
@@Daisudori That is why I say remove the belt. Remove the oil pump if you wish. you will have to compensate the oil feed with fuel/oil premixing.

Does it have a GY6 engine?

No it is a 50cc 2 stroke. Like Honda Dio Vertical.

It looks to me that it was running to week melting the piston, and it looks like metal debris has gone down the oil hole for the bearing on the alternator side .so I would strip the engine to get piece of mind

Thank you, This scooter is still powering today👍

Yes I wouldn't be surprised if it can low on oil. Having the wrong exhaust gasket probably didn't help either.
