Hello, first of all great video! I am also a beginner and planning to buy my first motorcycle / scooter after learning how to ride a bicycle 3 months ago. I am choosing among the ff: honda pcx, vespa primavera, kymco xtown 300i, and the kymco like 150i. Will only be using it within the city for short commutes, but really like this for the big storage capacity even if it is the most expensive of all my choices! Would you recommend it for a total beginner? How does it handle in city traffic? Thanks!

Sorry for the super late reply but anyways yes i can recommend it for a total beginner if you can handle weight. Because it’s really heavy compared to a normal 125 or 150cc scooter. For city driving traffic yes but if there’s too much traffic it’s harder to maneuver on tight spaces. I really bought this one of long rides and travel because that’s the strength of this type of Maxiscooters. I think it’s better if you can test ride one so you can get the feel specially if you will use it for everydaya use. I think if the traffic is lightt o moderate then no problem with it but for heavy traffic you might have some problems with tight spaces that normal scooters can handle. I guess if it’s for everyday commute the vespa or kymco like is much better or maybe the PCX since they are much smaller and easy to handle on moderate to heavy traffic. But try to test drive an Xtown and see if it’s the weight will bother with city traffic :)

Just watched your video and I am going to keep my 2012 Kymco Like 200 i. If I want a motorcycle that I have to throw my leg over the benefit of a flat floor for my feet is gone. Might as well get a motorcycle.

We have different purposes for two wheels. My preferences fits that Kymco Xtown that's why i prefer it specially on long rides. The comfortability it gives from seating position, leg position and seat comfortability is the best.

Although, the XMAX leads in every way the difference is not really significant so from there i based it with the price and for the price the Xtown is the bang for the buck :)

Sir tanong ko lang po. Wala po kayo experience with other motorcycles before? As in yan mismo talaga first bike ninyo? Planning din po kasi ako sir and parang natatakot ako dahil sa bigat and height. Hehe tia sir!

Yes wala as in hindi pumasok sa isip ko this year mag momotor ako.. but ayan bumili din ako kasi naisip ko if mag travel lang ako na ako lang mas convenient kesa mag sasakyan and matipid pa... yes medyo nakakaatakot siya sa weight and height... lalo weight nya mabigat talaga if first two wheels mo pero kasi sakin talagaang tyinaga ko practisin since nakaapg scooter naman nako na maliit before pag nag tratravel before (pag nag rerent sa mga destinations before) yung mga mio etcc.. madali dalhin kasi pero kung cocompare mo sa Xtown mabigat talaga as in kelangan mo alalayan.. but if ever tyatyagain mo din naman like mag practice ka muna sa area nyo bago mo ilabas sa mga main roads maasanay ka din.. nasanay din naman ako pero pag masyado trapik medyo mahirap talaga isingit since malaki siya... yun lang naman dapat mo iconsider yung weight nya.. then other than that ok siya pag medyo clear na road and mabilis na takbo super ok na plus comfortable lalo nakung ang purpose mo sa Xtown is pang long drive talagang thumbs up. Test drive ka muna siguro sa mga casa para mapakiramdaman mo din :)

Sir last question ko po kamusta naman po pagdating sa seat height? Nabasa ko sa other comments is 5'6" kayo. Kaya niyo po ba iflat foot sa both feet?

if meron ka naman experience scooters kaya naman 5’3 pero medyo tip toe nasiguro yon plus consider mo din weight nya.. pero meron ako nakikita mga. Xtown owners kaya naman nila yung stock height nya mga 5’3 or 5’2 sila yun llang tip toe na talaga then yung iba pinnapatabasan or bawas nila yung seat para bumaba...
