nice little track in a nice little town. it's actually not that little, i just checked: 4.9km despite a 1'13"6 laptime record from 1980 to 1994, the track record went from 1'34"0 to 1'21"55 (on the exact same layout), you bet that theses 1994 cars went dangerous!

I was at the race & love Imola with all of it's rich history (although sad), leafy & undulating layout, great atmosphere & passionate Italian Tifosi. But sadly the race was a snooze fest, Lando was close but in reality never had a realistic chance of getting a struggling Max. F1 cars are too big for this track & there simply isn't enough overtaking oportunities. Too many chicanes (yes i know it's for safety) but the only option to overtake is on the straight into turn 1(same with Hungary & many other tracks) which is curved so the DRS isn't as powerful. Back in the days from 2006 & earlier when F1 was racing here cars were alot smaller. Not sure what more F1 can do (apart from making the cars much smaller) but the racing just isn't as exciting as it used to be sadly. This coming from an F1 fan who starting watching in the 90s

It is so strange to me that drivers walk in the paddock and suddenly people are just lining up with them for a couple of steps to take a selfie and they do not even ask for permission. I think it is just rude and a violation of private space, not sure why this behavior got common and accepted, the total lack of basic courtesy.

As Lando took 10 laps to gain 4 seconds while the much faster Piastri could only overtake through a pit stop!!!! What makes you think Lando, on warn out tires, could overtake the best F1 driver 'on track'. (Max) at the end? ha-ha Peter Windsor's friends suggested that the FIA / F1 management team asked the RB team to 'sand bag this weekend to boost F1 ratings. ha-ha ..... and .... succeeded.
