I just flew Finnair business class from RT from Dallas to Helsinki and back. Really enjoyed the seat. Food and service on the flight was excellent. The lounge in Helsinki is very nice. Talented bartender and great cocktails. The 11 hours flew by.

I've just flown back from ICN to HEL. I was in 3L too. Going out, I had a similar last minute transfer experience. I was caught up in the industrial action by ground staff. my bag wasn't transferred and we couldn't deplane for nearly an hour, nearly missed my connection, they held the flight for me and I was the last to walk on. Alas no luggage in Korea though...

I booked about 3 flights in "first class" on us domestic flights and they were pretty basic compared to these crazy pods and beds. Completely envious of this lifestyle. Although i could see it getting a bit stale once youve done it a few times.

thnx. Finnair is not a good airline anymore. They do not serve champagne in Europe anymore. They do not offer an international first class cabin anymore. The featured meal here was average. Nothing fancy. OK its only businessclass. Vid was excellent though
