If you ever find yourself needing to reset the admin password back to its original default using MM U021, consider retrieving as much data from the configuration as possible, including network settings and the address book. These settings can be accessed from the control panel. Additionally, there's a U917 data backup option available for export to a USB, allowing you to import it back into the machine. @@FieldServiceTechBusiness Hi! Quick question about U917 import mode, it's asking me for a password - which password should I use? Entering serial number or password from a sticker, or admin/Admin/admin00 doesn't work. If I enter any password and I not press "Execute" (on screen) but "Start" (physical) button, it forces me to Power SW Off/On, with error(?) e0004. The printer model is ECOSYS MA5500ifx. I'm sure the files are on the pendrive - it throws this e0004 error, even if I make an export from the same menu on the same printer.
