I tried to scout rush her and done the first lift to the right, then out of curiosity I shot her with my sniper from the spawn, and it took a third of her health, wtf is up with this boss.

@@KratosAurionPlays it's a weird issue caused by the older game engine, whatever algorithm being used to calculate the range for the skills activation is tied to framerate or resolution, so more render area lowers the activation range. If you've played the original dark souls, the games physics engine was affected by framerate too, increasing the framerate through mods increased the speed of the physics since it was calculating it every frame, which was accounted for in the remaster.

I remember playing this the first time like 5 years ago and I used smokes to sneak to the left and right. I just played this level and I got shot at the instant I wanted to use a sniper to clear out some non-crouching units. After my sniper died the first second I was like, hell naw. First I tried using damage boost on the tank and awaken potential etc. head on, but that didn't work. Then my next thought was of largo with buffs, but then I was curious if I had the right idea and googled A rank, when I saw he was buffing Alicia I realized I could do the same thing I did in last mission (caution order) and then I sneaked through the buildings on the right since I don't have all the potentials. Finally with Alicia I dealt 90% of her health but then she shot back (forgot to use evasion order), and wouldn't you know it I had exactly 2 CP left, I blasted her thick ass with full accurate Edelweiss (I prefer to go for full damage and accuracy). So satisfying to beat in one turn after remembering that this took me maybe less than a dozen of turns last time.

Masterful! I have 2 questions: 1. How do you get the penetration order? I don´t have it. 2. Is this someyhing that has to be tried over and over until you get it right? I tried to do this and Selvaria dodged every shot (maybe because I´m missing penetration?)

Late to the party, but I just used this method because doing this map the "legit" way only rewards you with Selvaria dodging absolutely everything you throw at her. So fuck this, headshots from below.

Thanks for this. I'm not too good at this game and the map and its layout was just frustrating to me. I didn't have Penetration order but it still worked, just popped defense and evade orders.

just discovered an even easier strat that doesn't need any special orders or weapons: Step 1- fire isara smoke from tank at the bottom of gate. Step 2- send scout or other class to stand in smoke where Selvaria and tank cant see then shoot up at her and you win without taking any damage

Killed her with Alicia from the stairs after multiple tries and revivals. Had all buffs except penetration and it seems your weapon was twice as powerful.

I think Selvaria now is immune to head on attacks. Apparently, you can still surprise attack her within smoke. You just need all snipers, Largo and Rosie. (12CP total) 1. Create a smoke in the middle of your base 2. Use order to increase all units attacks 3. Use order to awaken all units potential (optional) 4. Use each snipers to attack once (this is tricky, because you need to manually aim and try to see Selveria's shadow to aim for the head. Make sure you get a headshot, once you attack from the smoke, your position is known and she will able to dodge that unit)

I suppose luck was on my side but when initially completing this mission Selvaria didn't try to dodge my Tanks's AP shells and got beaned in the head making it much easier than it probably should have been

Alternative strategy to Scout Rush, just enable the attack and aim boost on the Edelweiss, roll up as close to Selvaria as you can, and then shoot the shit out of her with Anti-armor shells lol. I guess it is going to depend on how much you have upgraded the Edelweiss, but if you have all of your CP characters in the battle, you should be able to take her out before the turn ends. NOTE: if you are close enough, you will be able to score at least one successful headshot on Selvaria if you aim carefully, making your chance of victory all that much greater.

I didnt have penetration, but i was able to do this by using every single boosting ability on Alicia + Caution, and it took three rounds of undodgeable shot to take her out, it felt so satisfying ~

How the hell are you guys doing this mission so easily? I've tried the thing in the video plus all of the suggestions in the comments and none of them work for me. Selvaria just fucking dodges every time. I even tried shooting through a smoke mortar. She still dodges even though she can't even see! Please help I've been trying to get past this for like two days.

Tried several times with Alicia, but even with Awaken order she did not wanted to wake up undodgeable shot. Only Rosie with same orders(Awaken+Aim+Defense) at first try got undodgeable shot :P

Here with the Switch version and this seems just not to work. I do all three orders as shown but no matter what, Alicia gets mowed down around about where the train looking platforms start. I have even taking out the gatling turret, medium tank and Trooper Elite before I move her, but nope she never makes it to a point where she can shoot. Valkyria potential always seems to trigger as well. Is the Switch version different or am I just hella unlucky?

Big Yellow Duck 2 days ago a played this mission for the first time and got an A rank in 4 turns. It involved a lot of defense boosted scouts running through gun fire and using Ragnaid. Took all camps except the Northern middle camp. Selvaria moved to the left and was standing at the top by herself. Moved Alicia right beside her to make her turn East and ran Juno behund her and killed her with headshots. I looked up the turn limit for A rank later and you can take up to 8 turns and still get and A rank. The hard part is getting a foothold on the upper levels. Once you have the Southern camps you can just request units in and push from there. The tanks will heal in their starting positions so I just left them there but had an engineer there just incase.

The RNG was not with you. Two easy options. 1. Smoke her and aim through the smoke. 2. Run behind her you've got double movement hopefully and can do this in a single turn. /edit Uploading a demonstration of the above.

0 times. It's a very reliable strategy but like I said if in doubt smoke. With double movement you can run around the entire map and shoot her in the back if you like.
