late comment but all dodge attacks except chars like jj, tiandi, and warmonger, should act just like zhanhu’s dodges they are enhanced, and can execute like heavies but they give free heavy on parry like lights it’s insane that some heroes can completely avoid your mixup and only take one light in punishment for it.

not sure if someone mentioned, and i havent seen it in the video.. but Kyoshin can do somewhat of a superior heavy if he misses the unblockable heavy attack from Kaze, but catches the enemies attack before it hits. So basically, imagine a Kyoshin is fighting a hero with a dodge heavy. Kyoshin goes into Kaze, and does the unblockable top heavy, but the enemy sees it and does a dodge heavy, making Kyoshin miss. Now with Kyoshin you can do a Heavy attack IN THE SAME direction as the incoming attack (left/right) and get a superior Heavy which animates right as the unblockable heavy finishes. Very situational move, and difficult to get right. But also very satisfying to pull off, somewhat like deflects. TLDR haha Superior heavy after unblockable heavy in kaze go brr

Not "matching direction". Fujin force, heavy in between fujin cuts, has an all block property. And it also always comes from Kyo's right(left for opponent). Aside from all block (which is a nice thing) you can quick flow into Kaze Stance, while you can't flow out of Fujin Cuts

The Kaze is actually pronounced Ka-zae. Like (because most people know as a result of historical teachings) Kamikaze. Kaze means wind so this technique can be called wind stance.

He’s not broken? That’s intended for him to be able to flip deflects. And he can’t flip anything if it has superior guard. If he attacks the all guard and then you throw an unblockable it’s not flippable

I honestly don't understand how people think he sucks. I haven't played him but fighting him is an absolute nightmare, he has 2 fast bashes and can easily bait u with his quick ass full guard shit. All it take is one quick ass light from his all guard stance and u get a guaranteed 3 piece with the most hit stun I have ever seen. This makes fighting more than 1 Kyoshin practically un-winnable. And to make up for his low damage they give him retardedly strong feats. (I play on ps4 btw)

@@Sean_Connery You still can't blame the game because it isn't matchmaking by connection speed. Thats where patience comes in. You know they're at 100 latency so if something crazy happens, you know why. It may be frustrating but its outside of your control until the match is over. If you choose to play them again, the only person to be mad at is yourself if something frustrating happens

Here is a tip when in a gank your low damage is a hinderance making able as soon as you kill one another will just respawn and take his place. In a 4v4 game mode having a friend with a damage buff or picking up a damage buff is helpful but survival is your best bet and just like other characters watch your stamina it’s very easy to lose it all after just a couple combos your feats also keep you alive just a bit longer the bleed does help with damage but the health on hit is better so if you can help it replace the bleed with something else other than that good luck

To be completely honest he is fun to play if you can get hits off and stuff, but most of the time better players will just counter everything, his heavies are slow his bashes are predictable, and a free guard break if he goes into kaze stance plus the low damage he does and the Stam it takes to do it. He’s fun and all but he really sucks.

The superior block heavy during those cuts is absolutely useless in duels. 600ms unfeintable heavy that comes from 1 side and only after a select couple moves. Literally only useful for punishing people that dodge attack on your unblockable.

When using him against some slower players he was amazing, jumping into the combo slashes and flowing into full block. Then I played some better players and was completely shut down, they reacted to everything. Bashes where just free guardbreaks for them. I feel like at least the heavy out of the slashes should at least be feintable.

If anything at present he is one of the harder characters in the game. You want light spam; Orochi, Raider,Shaolin, Tiandi, anf Jourmingandur would like a word with you
