hello friend, excellent video! excuse me for asking you a question... I want to buy a 4tec vxl but to put a kyosho fazer body, I have no way of knowing if it will fit... could you help me? Thank you!
@ReadySetRC2 жыл бұрын
@R.C.R.A I'm glad you enjoyed it and that is a very good question. All depends on the 4tec you are speaking about. The 2.0 is more of a standard size on road car and most bodies will fit it except the longer wheelbase Kyosho bodies like this one. I believe Kyosho does make a standard/shorter wheelbase bodies but not in the Chevelle. For the classic cars I think the new Nissan is part of that standard/shorter wheelbase. For the 4tec 3.0, they are longer than the long wheelbase Kyosho's. The one that may work is the new 3.0 Supra. It's dimensions are closer to the classic body Kyosho's even though they are not exact. The width may be a little off since the 3.0 is slightly wider. Hope this helps.

@@ReadySetRC You have helped me a lot to decide, it will be better not to experiment and just buy the kyosho VE to avoid taking risks, it will be slower than the traxxas but it will look better which is what I want. Thank you for your answer and your excellent channel, good luck friend👍

@@r.c.r.a2177 I'm glad I was able to help. If speed and looks is what you want, check out the brushless Kyosho Charger. I recently posted up a video and it is the fastest one yet. Also since it is the long wheelbase, most of these classic bodies will fit.

@@r.c.r.a2177 Appreciate the support! I know the ESC is 2-3S capable. Not sure on the motor. I would say order a 50C 2S pack. 3S maybe a bit much for it. The Powerhobby packs are usually priced well and hold up nicely. And they will be a hard case too.

This car is my favorite car EVER built. I absolutely love this machine. , My mother had one when I was 5 years old and I've never forgotten that beautiful car, it was Champaign gold with the black SS stripes. Me and this car are the same age. There's one problem with this model that is causing me not to buy and that is the rear wheels DO NOT line up with the wheel wells and to me that makes it look CHEAP. Man when I first saw that someone made the 70 Chevelle in a RC car I said I am going to buy it but when I saw that imperfection it damn near brung me to tears. I'm real serious when it comes to anything to do with this car. I wish there was a way to fix that because I really want this car but I can't deal with that imperfection. Does anybody know what could be done to align that rear end with the body? I mean you could cut the body wheel well back some but then the chrome around the wheel well would be trimmed off and that wouldn't look good. DAMN IT MAN I WANT THIS MODEL!!! Anyway great video buddy. Thumbs up on it👍👍👍.

@William Santiago I hear you brother👍👍 For me it would be a 70 Monte Carlo. My dad had one well into the 80's and I loved that car. I would feel the same way if I saw one thing off. The only thing I could say is buy the body only and try to find a chassis that matches. I'm not sure who has a chassis that would line up for this but it maybe worth the hunt.

Detail would be limited decals and molded door handles, with 3d printing readily available and cheap let alone injection molding standards for lexan bodies should go way way up. Grills, light buckets, door handles, wipers etc should all be standard bolt on features in 2020. Car looks good and the old muscle cars are always cool but hobbyists need to demand more for there money.
