One suggestion to get better handling is use a shorty pack and push it up forward. Using a shorty pack effects the center of gravity pushing the weight toward the front. I actually did a comparison over the weekend. Thanks!

Great video. I was going to order the dirtmaster but bought the bbx offroad instead because I loved its looks. Do you plan on doing the tamiya bbx offroad at some point.

The RB5 uses a Carbon Composite chassis vs the Dirt Master plastic "resin" chassis.

Back in the days we use 3 step esc, fm radio, brushed motor and nimh battery..😂 finding dogbones was interesting..

Back in the really old days we used a 3-step mechanical speed controller and a 1200 milliAmp-hour Nickel-Cadmium (NiCAD) battery. With big front bumpers and gear covers that completely sealed the transmission.

Body Looks reminiscent of a old kyosho Triumph..

The body bulges up because of the esc wires. orientate the esc 180 degrees and shorten the wires to the motor and I bet the body will not bulge anymore.

The motor wires have to be on that side to clear the ridge. It actually hangs a bit above the chassis sideguards. Trust me, I’m well aware of how to best fit an ESC into an RC car. The right solution is to use a smaller ESC.
