Kyosho Hanging on Racer Build

The build of the Kyosho Hanging on Racer was different than any other. It fits together quite well and I upgraded a few things. I added Fast Eddy ball bearings, EZRun 2030 12T 7800KV Brushless Motor & EZRUN 18A SL V2 Sensorless Brushless ESC, Xtra Speed Oil Filled Front Forks, and GPM Oil Filled Rear Shock. Once assembled, all of the electronics are built in. To replace a servo or esc would mean taking it almost completely apart and rebuilding it with the new electronics. That will only be an issue if electronics go bad though. Be prepared to do some masking and painting with this one too. #kyosho #rcmotorcycle #rccar

It was a fun one. Not easy to drive though. The day a receiver or servo needs replaced will be a sad one because I will have to almost take it completely apart to get to them. 🤷‍♂️

Man that turned out looks great! It also looks very tedious! I still need to get the courage to dig into mine but this did not make me confident it is going to be quick or easy!! I am glad you got yours done and now I at least have an idea of how it all goes together! I hope it spent some time on the shelf so you can enjoy it for a while scratch free!

Thank you! I am pretty happy with it. Actually the decals are what drove me crazy. Felt like I was never going to get them done. As for scratch free… well it was for a few days. The first running had a few rolls and slides 🤷‍♂️

Yes. I don’t think much has changed. I remember looking at it in the Tower Hobbies catalog back in the day.

@@ShaoKhanWarriorTenis the brushless motor and esc came from RC Mart. Receiver is a radio link from Amazon. Servo from either Tower Hobbies or AMain Hobbies

Why did you not use the esc that came with the motor ? What battery did you install ?

I put a brushless motor and esc in it because, more power I guess. After running it, if I had it to do over I would have used stock. The brushless is a but too much really.
