Hi, what is the ma-020 original rear tie rod angle? Zero degree ? Or -1 degree? May asked why select -1 degree? Thanks

I didn't measure but it looks pretty neutral toe to me, so I'd say zero degree stock for the rear. As for this video, i wanted to have a little toe out front for better turn in and ackermann. However, what i learned from this experiment was that because of the mini-z tie rod mechanism, steering angle is always limited by the inner wheel. That means at steering lock, the tie rod length is determining the outside wheel angle.

@@sammybaka to expand on their 2nd question. I see that PN has a few angles available, from +2 to -2, so why did you chose -1?

okay in som extra research I see we would want to avoid a positive degree since we are drifting, so it's more why not go -2 instead of -1

Do you think that a upgrade will work in an X mod?

I don't have any experience with x mod but I doubt this will work there.

I have this same problem, but at high speed it understeers right and tends to oversteer left. Will the PN Racing piece help me too?

Do you have even turning circle left vs right? Also worth checking whether the spring tension and preload are identical on the left vs right side, especially on the front suspension. Are you doing grip driving or drifting? MA-020 by design has more weight bias towards the battery side so I can see imbalance at higher speed.

@@sammybaka Sorry, I don't understand your first question. I have replaced the front springs: soft, medium, hard… it does the same thing. I installed HRC engine cooler that works as a counterbalance. It understeers to the right in both drifting and grip driving. I've noticed the left front wheel lowers more when you lift the frame off the ground, but I've replaced parts, sanded and lubed everything but can't get that corrected. Sorry if I spelled wrong, I don't know how to speak English, only Spanish.

@@pablocrudovideo When you turn left in a circle, does it turn the same amount compared to turning right? Do you have spacers put on the kingpins?
