Kyosho mp10 diff spacer

Kyosho Mp10 and Mp9 part # IF466 install. In some racing conditions you will find that the center diff spur gear will hit the dirt causing engine bog or engine to flame out. adding 1mm spacers to center diff will help prevent that issue! please like and subscribe!

When I ran on road I would use a peice of plastic from a body when cutting it I would put two holes in front an diff screwz as a guard so that wouldn’t happen it may not work for off-road if someone needed to do it an didn’t have the shims in a bind

On my old Mp9 when I used the option 48 center diff gear I used the thicker an glued them to the diff holder had no problems with the 48 an the thicker plastic shims

Awesome good stuff Robert ! Ya I figured I would mention the spacers because many guys who have run kyoshos for years already know this stuff . But that information is kinda missing for guys who are new to the brand .

i am in the proses of getting one of these finely i have been watching your videos and studing them can you tell what would be a good starter box to use are which one you use and what would be some great upgrades to do frome the start . thank you for your videos and have a great night sir

Hi Chris ! thank you for checking out the videos! I currently use the protek sure start starter boxes. They are working very well for me. I I use 2 , 2 cell batteries in each starter box. 1 starter box for truggy and 1 for buggy. the only thing you have to do for the kyoshos for the protek boxes to work is that you have to shim the rubber wheel upwards by 2mm -3mm. kyosho flywheels are 32mm and most other manufactures run 34mm. if you dont shim the rubber wheel on the starter box, the flywheel will miss the rubber wheel. Shiming the starter box is not a big task. there are a few youtube videos on how to do it. As far as upgrades on the kyosho mp10 . I recommended getting an extra set of front control arms , add longer cap head screw at rear chassis brace with 3mm locking nut, and get the aluminum hub carrier in caster degrees 19* or 22*. 19 * , you can achieve 18* or 20* by flipping the +1mm inserts( best of both worlds ). the extra arms is just in case they break. the weakest point on the car potentially is the front arms. dont let the arm situation discourage you on the kyosho. you really have to be mean to it to break the arms ! there tough but when you send it! it will most likely be the breaking point.

ok great news i just got the mp9 great car and i can say the its a nice toy lol i have a question what kind of battery charger woud you use to charger up the life e battery any ideas thank you

Venom v2 charger works great ! Also the protek prodigy charger works great . There both $65 to $80 bucks . Will do everything you need it too. I suggest buying a balance plug extension lead . There like 5 bucks for 2 . The extension leads are handy and make it easier to charge . Glad you Are liking the kyosho! Also sorry for the late response !
