I'm loving that you keep these races going throughout the winter, Dom! Such great entertainment to watch these. I think the Kyoshos will continue to dominate, will be exciting to see which Tamiya can challenge them!

Great video Dom! That Tomahawk goes so much better than the Turbo Scorpion! Surprising given how similar the chassis is but I guess that extra weight in the Scorpion beds it down a little too much!

it’s a little rocket . i can only think it’s the tyres and weight because of verything else is pretty much the same , bar the cosmetics 😊👍

Another awesome pairing Dom, two great buggies indeed! There was a lot more in that than I was expecting (bearing in mind how similar they are). But they are both winners in my mind, both seemed right at home on the track. Quite surprising how nippy they are on just a Torque tuned motor! So, if you had to pick a favourite, which one would it be? 🤔 Love the league table by the way, very professional.... and most interesting being able to view the rankings of all the cars together. Great work as always matey. 👍 👍 👍

thanks mate . i think it came down to tyres and the loose sand . although i think the mix of grass to sand was 50/50 ish the scorpion lost to much time on the sand which it couldn’t gain back on the grass . personally the tomahawk is for me . the name , look and chrome and i love the simpler chassis. glad you enjoyed it and like the league to . i doubt i’ll run every combo as a round robin would be nearly 50 videos 😂but see where it goes . might do a couple of three car runs 👍

@@rc-dom-uk I think you have a fair point there regarding the different surfaces and tyres. As for the buggies, I really couldn't pick a favourite..... would gladly have either. I Love my Turbo Optima, probably my favourite buggy to drive..... and hope to be picking up the Koswork Mid very soon. Definitely loving these series concepts, and a 3 car round or 2 sounds like a great plan! Keep up the great work Sir. 👍 👍 👍

Hey good stuff Dom. Well I thought the TS would take this based on my Kyosho Beetle being similar to the Tomahawk and handling worse than the TS but then I'm generally driving them on very short grass. On the sand you need the chunkier tyres and the Tomahawk won through. Best wishes mate 😁👍👍

Since the Tomahawk beat the Turbo Scorpion, which has beaten the Wild One, it is safe to assume the Tomahawk is way faster than the Wild One, right?

yeah if i recall on a torque tuned motor they both hit about 20mph . but that’s straight line speed. handling is probably more important. the tomahawk can out corner the wild one and keep its speed up. also the tyres and surface make a difference and of course my driving . 👍 but nearly every rc is modifiable so you could tune up a wild one to be faster and so on.

@@rc-dom-uk I remember the wild one being quite bouncy. It could definitely do with a shock upgrade. I always wanted one but now I'm more tempted to go for a kyosho. Both have great scale looks.

yeah they are both great fun . the kyosho is more expensive but the tomahawk is probably my favourite rc rwd buggy 👍
