Thank you! Took quite a long time to get where I am now. Mostly with the help of other RC enthusiasts.

@@TMRu22311 tons of work there. Sourcing all those parts must have been an unbelievable task. Cars look amazing and love the box art match. The original optima and turbo optima are just so legendary, great to see those. Never could afford one back as a kid but always wanted one. Ran the Icarus. When I had finally saved enough I went bigger and got the Turbo Mid SE. I found it in a box a little over a year ago in my parents basement and cleaned it up and took it out for a drive. Made a video of its run after 30 years. Check it out, you’ll appreciate the giddyness in my voice. That was such a fun day: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b37QdoSnfbyhsMU Keep up the work. Love seeing these old cars restored and back to life.

@@milehighspeedrc8412 I could never have any of these either when I was a kid (raised by divorced single Mother) and it wasn't until I was about 20 that I finally got a used Raider. I remember something always broke on it every time I took it out, lol. It was a bit dated at that time and parts always had to be ordered. This whole obsession started with a Tomahawk. That was my first full restoration and did it about 2 years before the re-re (OUCH!)

@@TMRu22311 ouch, that is bad timing. I found my optima mid just a few months before it was leaked that kyosho would do the re-release. Had some folks offer me $750 all in before the leak. Tempted but it just meant so much to me i couldn’t part with it. Now its probably not worth much. Sounds like our youth may have been spent in much the same way…drooling over the tower hobbies catalog for hours. I got my Icarus in middle school, then saved for 4 years to buy an optima. When i finally got the cash, my parents christmas present was to make up the difference to the Turbo Mid SE in the video. Only two cars i had as a kid. Now I’ve sort of over compensated:) Looks like you have too.

I was always a Tamiya fan as a kid in the 80s, and the Avante and Egress undoubtedly look awesome. But fast forward to 2022 and I think I misjudged Kyosho. Beautiful cars, beautiful engineering.

Love this collection!! I miss my TOMSE…

Thank you :D With Kyosho re-releases, it would be fairly easy to recreate a TOM SE. There are still SO many models I would love to have in my collection (Gallop MKII, Assault, Advance...).

Thank you PJ! I am going to make a longer video when I get these other models finished. I am not very tech savvy and this was my first video.

I’m quite certain 8 have a Kyosho Cox Scorpion. Is there a way to really spot that it’s from 1985?

There are a few different ways to tell. Mainly the gearbox, but the shocks, radio tub and tires were also different. If I seen pics I could tell you for certain.
