It took me 2 days to find a solution for this with two e2 who is exusiai and chen. I had a hard time because my defenders(liskarm and hoshi) and healer is only e1 lvl 50 and cant hold the lizards. Thats why i upgrade liskarm skill to lvl 7 to have a little survivability. Plus i only used e0 lvl50 astesia to top it off 😂

Tried this. Found out E2ing Cuora (or another strong defender) really is necessary for survivability, no matter how strong the healers are, max E1 Cuora just dies when the red lizard reaches her. Also Aoe guards like Broca, Specter and Estelle (just don't take her S2) can also work on Mousse's position (wouldn't recommend Popukar because she just doesn't do enough damage).

From my clear: Used 3 defenders : 2 high defense and 1 healing Used 3 specialists : Ethan with S2, 2 fast-redeploy operators (Gravel with S2 and Waii Fu with S1) One Amiya with S1 1 Sniper (better if they have an auto-charge skill for burst) 1 AOE medic (perfumer with S2) Melantha Plume Pramanix (or Caster DPS) with S1 (attack speed debuff) All operators at E1 except Amiya at E2. 1) I didn't have any arts guard/defender built so I just used my Saria next to Cuora. 2) Instead of bringing another Sniper bring Ethan with skill 2. That increased chance to bind when it's activated really gave me a lot of time to kill the tanks and delayed the lizardmen. I placed him just below where the 1 block Vanguard would be placed facing left. 3) Instead of bringing an extra medic, bring another fast-redeploy operator/defender for when the two lizardmen will show up. 4) Bring an extra caster DPS/supporter) When the spearthrower that appears at 30/31 kills dies, retreat your sniper and place your supporter facing down. 5) Try to delay the spearmen so that they stay in Ethan's attack range for a chance of delaying them even longer. Sacrifice whatever units you have to delay them.

I don't know why, but I've started watching your guides after beating these hard stages just to see how easy it could've been. For this stage, I ended up relying on 2 healers, Nearl, and Red to stall out the Lizard men, and Mousse to damage the armored guys. I was extremely afraid of using the ranged spaces since my ground units needed so much healing.

Very good strategy, thank you for the tip. I did not have Ethan and could not employ a strategy from another channel, so I'm glad I found this one. I only had 2 E2s to use for this map, Texas being one of them, and found that she is an ample enough replacement for Vigna and can generate DP better. The other E2 was Liskarm, which replaced Beagle. Pretty much followed the rest of the strategy, although enemies took a little longer to die due to not having all E2s. If you have an E1 S2-7 Ch'en, she can employ stun, so good viable alternative to Melantha (Texas DP battery ftw)

finally after many practice runs, i can clear this stage with 3 stars although i did tweak things a bit 1. deploying nearl with s1 for the first few part on the early game since my cuora can't tank much without healer, especially with high-cost squad (hoshi is on the right, her defensive capabilities is not much just yet) 2. using e2 siege in place of the arts guard for the first few part since nearl can't kill the enemies in time and i don't think grani can kill them in time while providing enough dp 3. going full defensive on the last part by retreating franka earlier cause -i panicked- i don't think cuora can withstand much when her skill duration is running out

@ninja6245-real Now that it's been 2 years and I've gotten a bit better at the game: if you mean specific method as in "tank the spear thrower guys" then I can sort of see where you're going, but then again it's not THAT specific. If you mean "have x operator or Die" then I heavily disagree with you. E2 Cuora is here because she's a good 4☆ defender and 4☆s are cheap to raise, and newer players will have an easier time raising her than higher rarity counterparts. Decent arts guard is being used here because they're relatively far more effective here considering the resources available to newer players - and also because this video is 3 years old, other alternatives aren't out by then (However. 🤝 on the difficulty spike part)

@ninja6245-real No offence, but you should also add a decent defender to the raise list since there are also other stages that could need some tankers Also pro tip: a well diversified roster saves IRL sanity on early to mid game. Don't fret too much about not having OP operators raised, those OP operators need backup and a diverse roster has said backup

@@handofmyths Yeah… I’ve beaten the stage finally. And oh boy the Yeti’s are WAY EASIER FOR ME! Plus I did 6-8 challenge mode first try! With the Yeti levels. I can figure out a strategy for it. This level however… You need such specific types of units… Such as a defender with extremely high defence and an arts Guard. Seriously. I didn’t struggle badly with 6-1 to 6-4. 6-6 and onwards were honestly fun. 6-5 is the bane of my existence.

Small trick you can do is that if you have Surtr you can bait the attacks with twilight-

Also if you’re brain dead and a Surtr user but still can’t figure out the stage, put Surtr where Mousse is put but put her first, then in Amiya’s place plop down a medic then ideally AOE medics where Kroos and perfumer are facing each other, and defenders. With this you can just outstall everything until the first Red possessed thing, then just Twilight and try to place down everything to reduce the damage to Surtr as much as possible to keep her on field long enough to stall the last throwers with remnant ash and kill the last red possessed 👍👍

Just know guys, you do not need e2 for all your ops in this. the only e2 i had was exusiai in place of kroos and i also had an e1 lvl 40 eyjafjalla in place of amiya and i was able to barely scrape a victory. if you find the right subs for operators you dont need a lot of e2's
