You always give great advice to travellers! The best Fushimi Inari Shrine advice I ever heard is to visit very early in the morning, before all the tourists wake up. I went there at 6:00 am, and as you can see from my profile pic, there was nobody there! I also went at night, around 11:00 pm, and there was nobody there!

I discovered your channel by chance, and I really appreciate the videos! I'm catching up on all of them. I'm returning to Japan for 14 days in March 2025, and I'll definitely add some of the more local recommendations to my itinerary. Greetings from Italy!

Thanks so much for the tips!!! Quick question. I really hope you can help me with this. In Inari, you can get a Goshuin booklet, right? Do you know where they sell it and what is their schedule? Sorry for the random question, but I would really appreciate the help.

Is it bad luck to tell people what you wish for at a shrine?
@ShoMeJapan5 ай бұрын
No it’s not bad luck but you are not supposed to tell your wish

Nice video. There are quite a few uncrowded routes over the mountain. My friend lives on Inariyama and his family take care of some of the shrines. This short video is the hiking route that we take. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGa0gZWXi7ehjMk
