I spent the last half of my trip in Kyoto and wow, it was gorgeous. I did not want to leave. I spent a couple hours biking around the whole city at night, magical experience. I remember some 80 year old lady who didn't speak english and came up to show me how to turn on my bicycle after she saw me struggling lol.

JR is a bit complicated for foreigners, you are awesome! Kyoto is Japan’s most touristic ancient capital, so glad you went there! That hot spring egg rice ball looks delicious! There is a canopy above the alley, which is really convenient when it rains! Your eyes are as beautiful as marbles. Have you ever drank their marble soda? Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful day in Kyoto, you did a great job! 👍🥰🙏

Even in Japan, raw chicken carries the risk of Campylobacter. The chicken sold in the izakaya seemed being grilled on the outside, which makes it a little less dangerous, but we don't recommend it nonetheless. In some areas of Kyushu, there is a culture of eating raw chicken. Hygiene control is often very strict in those areas of Kyushu.

Was just in Kyoto a few days ago. There's just too many tourists there at the moment. Tons of tourists traps. Queued up for some spots and was sorely disappointed. Best bet here for food is Shijo Kawaramachi area near where you at that beer at the Nishiki Market. Try Kaiten Sushi Ginza Onodera Kyoto for some good conveyor belt sushi, there's a good Korean BBQ place downstairs from there that you can get some decent quality beef for a reasonable price. If you want Izakaya try the chain Yamauchi Nojo they have some of my favorite gyoza and a good Izakaya experience. They are also banning tourists from parts of Gion in April so you might want to go there while you can.

I live in Kyoto, and tourist spots are always overflowing with people, just like in the video. And most of the East Asians in the video are not Japanese, but Chinese and Korean. In just one month, Japan is flooded with more than 2.5 million tourists from Korea, China and Taiwan alone. The situation right now is chaos 😂

A raw chicken is eatable in Japan. But it’s only limited to super fresh chicken. Usually Japanese people don’t eat a raw chicken at home as a home-cooked meal. It should be cooked by a professional 😂 ( it’s roasted from above chicken skin) Eating a raw chicken originated in southern Kyushu island where is famous for the chicken farming, and even now you can buy a raw chicken for eating at supermarket only in south Kyushu.🐓( Kyushu area establishes a stricter hygiene standards than other prefectures.)

I'm Japanese, but I didn't know why people could eat raw chicken, so I looked into it. Apparently, there are strict rules in detail regarding the butchering, storage, temperature control, and serving of raw chicken. For example, knives and cutting boards must be sterilized with hot water and used only for sashimi. It's a local dish in Kagoshima Prefecture.

Karaoke is also fun anywhere in the world, most especially in Japan!!!! How was your Apa Hotel review? This business hotel for $77 is a steal! Most Japan hotels provide an umbrella in the hotel room, you’d save your ¥ if you just use what your hotel provides you. Any plans on Fukuoka, or Okinawa????
