It is with great excitement that I anticipate the arrival of TACHIBANA Kyoto in next year's Rose Parade. I am already filled with joy at the prospect of witnessing their performance. Their energy and positive aura have always been a source of inspiration for me.

現役が一年生から三年生まで100名でも、OGとOBが集まり186名の集団で演奏演技が出来るのは、シング×3を伝統的に先輩から後輩へと継承されるから、これだけのパフォーマンスが出来ます。 これだけエンターテイメントな高校バンドはないでしょう。 誰かが世界一とか言っても過言ではないと思いますね。 それにしてもちっぴさんのマルチタムを全身で叩いてる音が響きますね。 ドラムスよりもちっぴさんの音の方が勝っていますよね。 シロフォンを叩いても最高ですし天才ですよね。 3:10から中央のトロンボーン隊にトランペット隊が駆け寄り、更に後ろにバンド隊が近いてからの全員でステップを踏む演奏演技が一番好きですね。 あれだけの演技をしても音圧が下がらないのですから驚異的ですよね。

The seniors in this band were rookies when the band took Gold in the All Japan competition, If you have not already come across it, look it up. An ultraprecise drill, with perfect musicianship followed by Sing Sing Sing with a real surprise twist thrown int (and look at the competition videos frm 2016 when they literally doubled down) The one legged flautist, a senior in 2018, was a rookie in 2015. I think the 114th class has got to be legendary.

@@nhunguyen0203 well there is no “worlds best marching band” that’s not possible because some bands are better at some things than other and every year high school bands are different so it’s not exactly the most consistent thing to label. Tachibana is a very unique and fun marching show band to watch. Also they are in high school, they can’t compete with things like some college bands and DCI marching bands. But some extremely good bands that I and many other in the field consider as part of the best of the best high schools are groups like Vandegrift High school, Hebron high school, Leander, etc. mostly Texas bands. I highly recommend watching 2019 Hebron high school for a taste

The MOST ENTERTAINING Band in the world, IMHO. I have marched in the Rose Parade with the LAPD Jr. Band and played in a couple of Drum Corps long ago so I've seen my share of bands but this group tops my list of the MOST FUN and Inspiring Bands I've seen - bar none. In this year's Rose Bowl Parade, three Drum Majors are leading the Kyoto Tachibana band : Ron (the current DM), Pimo (2016 DM) and Cony (2015 DM). There are also several alumnis (OB's and OG's) who joined, among them is Mita-chan, the lead drummer from their 2012 Rose Bowl participation. The ORANGE DEVILS indeed are in full force today!

Yeah, since I only know about two names, I've given several of them my makeshift names, and that's my name for her,Solo. She does it many times in many venues. I even bought a Sax, because of her and this outstanding band, they are Killer! Although I plan on learning it mostly standing in one place, lol. My first song to master will be, "I'll be There".

This was Amazing. I saw this band on TV from Florida because of the Rosebowl parade on ABC and NBC playing the Super Mario theme. This was Amazing seeing the bands movements outside of marching and seeing some other songs. Thanks for sharing. This looks great. I saw that they traveled to Disneyland a few days ago playing some #Disney songs and the #StarWars theme marching through #Disneyland.

They are pride of Japan.All Japanese marching contests this year (department of high school student) were disappointing results, but the more they become a big stage that is not bound by the rules, the more it will be captivating the audience with their performance and smile. I think a quarter of the 200 members are recruited back to KT mainly the graduates in 2016,2015, and 2014 and a few from older batches. Then Mr. Yokoyma their coach has come up with fun plans for the para to make it really fun and symbolic from the members one of those are the 5 DM in the frontline of the parade. 1 in the very front which is the current DM of 2017 then 2 former DM of in 2015 and 2016 and the Flag holder which will be the DM of 2018 and 2019 then the in the banner are section leaders

高瀬暖人　自分もなぜカメラが空に向けちゃったのだろうと 想像してみたんだけど、反射的にスタンディングと拍手で カメラが動いたんだと思います　あと日本人の撮影者の話だと スタンディングオベーションでスタンド自体がかなり揺れたそうですよ この動画投稿者さん(macfamily88)の動画説明もベタ褒めしてくれてますね
