@@aslamnurfikri7640 maybe someday. As of now from what I understand international travel into and out of Japan is still heavily restricted. But at the same time, a LOT of great content is coming out of Japan because those living there are doing pretty much all of their filming within the country itself. Less international tourists makes it a lot easier to film a lot of beautiful locations that would otherwise be overrun with tourists. Kyoto has been quieter than it has been in decades, but the upside is that people are filming it more freely and able to show the whole world why they should visit someday!

I've recently discovered your videos and love them. I've always felt a pull towards Japan but being in the USA it was always out of reach for me financially. Your videos allow me to see how special the water is for Japan. To my knowledge, there is no service comparable to the ferry services in Japan in the States. I’ve take ferries a few times on Lake Michigan, but I’ve only taken short rides from Door County to Washington Island. Longest Ferry I ever took was From New Zealand’s North Island to South Island. That was a massive ferry with movie theaters. But still only about 5 hours

There are some ferries in NJ, Delaware, Virginia & Maryland, but they are short rides and usually only offer snacks and drinks for the trip. However, there are river cruises that you can book in the coastal states and down south. They are sometimes overnight and offer entertainment as well as food and accommodation. Some of them are affordable and you can buy packages that include the bus trip to the boats. 😊

The continental US is contiguous, so there isn’t a geographical need for transportation like this. But Japan is a network of thousands of islands, big and small.

@@darkprose When you think about it, it's surprising that there isn't something similar to this to get to Hawaii - not a luxury cruise ship, but a more practical ferry, both for transporting personal freight (think moving houses, bringing your car) and for a fun experience. I'm sure there are ferries between the Islands, and I know there are some in Alaska (although still nothing like this).

A lot of the solo Japan travel channels do an excellent job of showing how to travel on a budget. They really show that traveling in Japan can be within reach for a lot of people as long as they don’t mind taking the slower modes of transportation and staying in things like capsules. I like this guy because he stays in everything from capsules to luxurious suites, and it looks like a lot of fun.

The balcony direct view of the sea is awesome (with or without the table and chair), I could imagine myself sitting on the floor with a mat, slurping my morning coffee while enjoying the sunrise and then go back to sleep :P It's actually funny when you say that you'll edit it out but still keep the whole towel search as is and when you apologize to the bear after hurting it and put the bear to sleep in the fridge is just hilarious. :D

The comforter cover looks like a fitted sheet or mattress cover, only put on upside down. Our comforters (we sometimes call them duvets, a French word I think) are completely covered by our protective covers. :) Hello from Ontario, Canada.

Wow - a highway bus with privacy curtains - what a wonderful touch. And it appears that flow of goods is not disrupted in Japan with all the busy cargo movement. It also means that your duvet and top sheet aren't going to go in different directions as they often do when they're separate pieces. Much easier to change than a full duvet cover. I REEEEEALLY wish that style of sheet/cover was available easily outside of Japan and Korea.

Thank you for taking us along with you on another journey! It seems that there are many ferries connecting almost all important cities in Japan. In 2015 my wife and I visited Otaru. A small town with a lot of history. Once famous for it's fishing industry, especially for processing herring. And famous for it's glass industry. At Otaru main railway station you can still see many old glass lanterns. We enjoyed our trip to Otaru very much, had a lot of excellent fish meals and Sushi, and, of course, too much yummy Hokkaido ice cream 😂 As a souvenir we bought very nice, hand-blown drinking glasses.

Since the country is in fact an archipelago ferries are quite important to Japan's logistics, more so than for tourism, so I guess there's a lot. Most of their profit comes from the cargo trucks they carry, with passenger accomodations being more of a side gig.

I did this trip when I was a teacher in Japan, both ways. Then, I went to Fukuoka by local trains because of the student fare ticket. It was fun! lol!
