I live in the UK and even though we're an island nation we don't have this kind of need for ferry travel as we're a fairly flat-land so our internal travel is done by car/train/plane. It's so interesting to see how different each ferry experience is in these vids. The first person view also makes it seem like you're the one actually experiencing it too.

Your cabin looked very nice and it was definitely clean. It used to be (back in the day) when a cabin could accommodate two people, but only one person was going to occupy it, they would charge you double rate to make up for the lost revenue. Sorry you didn't get your curry and rice. I don't think I'd be all that fond of the ketchup and rice, but glad it worked out for you. I thought the snow was beautiful. Just hope you were dressed warmly. Love your food channel too. Waiting for your next videos. 😊

When we used to get the ferry to The Isle of Man in the 1970's and 80's to watch the TT, the ferry was definitely more dark ages than this, there weren't any cabins everyone just sort of slept were they were, like lying on the deck or some such, and if it was rough there would be vomit everywhere, or you could have a jolly old knees up in the bar. Actually, thinking about it, there may have been cabins, my old man was probably just to tight to pay for one.

Sorry I'm a year late here, but I worked at two-three retail companies that provided a vending machine in the employee lunchroom with various breakfast, lunch and dessert options. Several shelves were filled with food items. The shelves rotate when one presses a button to see the food. One pays, using paper money and/or coins. The food rotates to the front, where the door opens to retrieve the paid selection. Microwave ovens were available for heating the food, if required.
