Benkei is my favorite character from Metal Fusion. He went from being a bully and gang leader to being a devoted friend. He's loud, overly affectionate, and stubborn; but that in my opinion just makes him wholesome. He's not just a good guy he's the _best_ guy. Kyoya is lucky to have him be there. 🦁💖🐂

COULDN'T AGREE MORE! benkei really embodies the series' genre-typical ideals of friendship and dedication and personal growth, arguably moreso than any of the other mfb main characters. it's a shame kyoya is (usually) so callous to him in the anime b/c he's a sweetheart and he deserves the world.
